Price very reasonable. Service which includes advice is dangerous as solving the issue that result ends up costing more. Products take an eternity to be supplied and when queried they say still coming. For example, the day after chasing Better Bathrooms for the product I contacted one wholesaler to confirm that the product was in transit and was informed it would be shipped shortly. The order had only come in the day before, from memory about 2 weeks after the original order and payment. Delivery time frame advices change. Constraints with products are not brought to your attention and when there is a problem, no refunds, talks over you loudly, recollections of pre-purchase discussions are poles apart. The choice of products was mostly made following discussions with Better Bathrooms. Generally the products are good. It is the retailer in between the wholesaler that leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered frameless shower screen and did get a wrong sice. Heavy alu frame all around and only 1810mm head clearance. Totally useless and unprofessional. They also delivered 3x incomplete washbasins that were not ordered. Mr Hobelt claims to know all but in reality he is a layman with very short temper. When I ask for return of over and credit of over $1500 it was flatly refused. Mr Hobelt was also extremely aggressive and personal. They also installed a glass panel quoted as $300 and demanded $500 cash as they also caused $400 damage by drilling into a water pipe in the other bathroom. Avoid them at all cost read more

The other 1 star reviews demonstrate a pattern of behaviour that is deceitful and abusive. While trying to resolve a purchase error, the owner was rude and unhelpful. On stating that I intended to dispute this transaction and negatively review his business, he verbally threatened to come down to my home and bash me. Be prepared for threats of physical violence when dealing with this man... As for our transaction dispute: We ordered a shower screen and some tapware from this business earlier in the month. The shower has deeply discounted, and cheaper than other online retailers we had found. We placed an order for ~$2200, of which $1200 was for the shower. There was minimal communication in the subsequent days, so I called up to enquire about the status of the order. I was told that despite being sold the item on the website, they are not allowed to sell those showers outside of Queensland (their motto being: Better Quality, Better Prices - anywhere in Australia). We were disappointed, but not terribly concerned at this point. I requested that he cancel the order and organise a refund. He flatly refused on the basis of us having ordered other items. I cannot stress enough that you should not deal with this company, in particular Dieter Hobelt. I ordered a vanity from Better Budget Bathrooms (BBB), originally from Mia. She was helpful. The vanity that I ordered was an ADP vanity, with a stone top and basins being supplied by BBB. The vanity was supposed to be 1800 x 500, with 2 basins and 2 tower mixers. I bought the tower mixers from another supplier, however, BBB were fully aware of the exact specifications of both. However, when it came time to cut the holes in the stone top, that was when I was advised that the top was only 460 deep and wouldn't fit the basins that I had ordered and the tower mixers. It became apparent that they had ordered a custom build vanity from ADP, I'm assuming as they had a 1800 x 460 stone top lying around that they wanted to get rid of. This is when Dieter became involved. He was rude, unhelpful, tried to blame us (even though 99% of my communication had been over email and very detailed). He agreed to supply a new vanity that was 1800 x 500 for slightly higher cost $2,500 instead of $2,280, as we were now getting the ADP stone top as well as the vanity itself). That was good, however, he wanted another $500 deposit. When I advised that they already had a $500 deposit, they said they now needed $1,000, when I said that wasn't happening, he wanted full payment upfront before supplying anything further. Do not buy from this supplier!!! They are the worst company I've ever dealt with. The vanity we ordered took an extra week to arrive which was fine, but what was NOT fine was the staff never returned my calls, I had to call them everyday to get any sort of an update. Then when the vanity actually arrived, it was the wrong one. Then they reordered another one - which was AGAIN the wrong one. By the end of it we had to physically go to their suppliers and pick the correct vanity up ourselves!
