We were…read moremeeting friends we hadn't seen in a long time, and they brought us here for dinner to celebrate: it turned out to be a very good idea! The restaurant is big and classy, but prices are very reasonable. The waiter was very funny, yet very knowledgeable and attentive. He also gave us great suggestions for the food: we were a party of 6 and wanted to order a few different dishes to share. Our entire dinner was based on fish. Our appetizers consisted of mixed shellfishes (both cooked and fried) and various vegetables (I loved their mushrooms). Then we had baked sea breams with potatoes. Everything was fresh and cooked with great care. The quality of the food was excellent, and I really enjoyed everything, from the appetizers to the dessert (a homemade tiramisu), and typical local post-meal digestives. Next time I'm in Trieste, I'll surely visit them again.
