The second part was the installation. The crew started with installing the counters and sinks in the bathrooms. Next they began working on the kitchen. During the installation, the installer received a phone call that his wife began ill and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He took the time to make sure the plumbing connections could be made, so we wouldn't be left with a kitchen that couldn't be used before he left. Part 3, Codi the installation manager came to expertly put the final touches on the install. The counters look beautiful. In the end, the counters and sinks in the bathrooms and kitchen look great and most importantly the installers wife is on the mend. Then I had the remove and replace the same shed after it was destroyed by a tree in July after a big wind storm. I also had them do some smaller jobs. We've found multiple issues with both the carpet and vinyl plank flooring. Getting the Installer to come fix the issue he caused was frustrating; we were never given a date or time, and we never even received a phone call or text to make us aware he was coming, he just showed up one day. In addition, we made 2 changes to the "quality level" deciding on Level 1 & 2 rather than Level 3 that was initially purchased. He said he'd call back that day to give us a quote. Well, after a few days, we called him. He ended up quoting us a price that was higher than we thought it should be. Turns out he used Level 3 pricing when it should've been Levels 1 & 2. We pointed this out and, again, he said he'd call us back in about 15 minutes. Well, guess what? The call never came and we purchased carpet from Menards and had a local installer do it for about 1/2 the quoted price.

The one unfortunate thing was I asked for two rain barrels instead of downspouts - and they installed them, but less than a year later the rain barrels were falling apart (the drainage spigot fell off on one and the spigot wouldn't open to drain on the other). Steel Shield responded promptly to my call and came out and replaced the rain barrels with downspouts, no charge. Can't remember the rain barrel brand, but they said they won't use that company again. Sadly, I am out the original $350 it cost to purchase those rain barrels and there was no warranty on them...

I ever used to go to petco, because people told me it was expensive. Some of the equipment is, but the fish are reasonably priced. The staff there is helpful and try to work with you if there is a problem. I'm there about once a week and it is also somewhere I can take my dog if it's freezing outside.
