Pretty pricey though! Smaller glass than at your regular place. There is one bar, and it is located when you come in. This is also were the cool game tables are (yes, they are working - except for one at least when we were there). The same girl was working both Saturday and Sunday when they opened at 15.00. Super friendly! This place is so cool. To get the most out of it you probably must be a gamer. But, because of the super satisfying selection of beer - I guess being a beer lover is enough. But, according to the earlier reviews - I guess anyone into retro will be satisfied! All the other reviews have already told you about the interior and decor. Not many has talked about the pinball machines though. All together there are 10 - The Addams family, Family Guy, White Water, Scared Stiff (out of order), Tales of the Arabian Nights, Medieval Madness, Indiana Jones, The Shadow, World Poker Tour and Batman. It is NOK10 per credit (even if you are two playing). You buy tokens in the bar.On Sunday they have this deal - you get free plays when you buy beer or drinks in the bar. Fewer tokens for soft drinks though. But, we were lucky, we even got some extra free plays when telling about our crazy tour around Oslo. I was surprised how few people were there on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon. More games for us to play! It is definitely worth the trip if you're a pinhead or even wannabe pinhead and want to try out some different machines! Check out my list for more places with pinball machines. Unfortunately no AMEX and no wifi.

At 18:00 when we arrived the place was half empty. By the time we were leaving it was packed of people and no shuffleboard tables were available. I think there were 6 tables all in all. So if you want to play, you need to be there early or you need to wait for someone to leave. The game is quite simple in its rules, but very hard to master. It is very hard to control the little round ball called puck. The puck slides very smoothly on the sandy table so you really need to master how much strength you need to use to send it to the other end without it falling off the table. The only negative side to the bar was the price of the beer. However it was a Christmas beer I chose and I guess beer generally in Oslo is expensive. I payed for mine 145nok so I would suggest you to check the price menu before you order. On the bar side there are tables for people to hangout and have a beer. You can sit on the couches that have as a table an electronic game. So while hanging out with your friends one can always play. I definitely suggest Tilt for at least a one time experience to everyone as shuffleboard is a lot of fun!

"If there was a problem, yo I'll solve it, Check out the…read morehook while my DJ revolves it Ice Ice baby" ~Ancient wisdom of Maester Vanilla Ice A spell of good luck placed us muggles in the path of the Oslo Magic Ice Bar one scorching afternoon, as we were melting from the heat faster than a wicked witch. We asked the doorman if the bar was open, but all he said was, "Hodor." "Charmed, I'm sure," I replied. After that enchanting exchange, we opened the door and PRESTO, we managed to walk in all on our own. There were few other humans or White Walkers inside, though that was no problem. We came for the party, but we brought the fun. SIM SALA BIM! We each paid the $25 entrance fee, which could not be waived with a wand, but at least it included one free drink token. Our instructions were then handed to us in envelopes hermetically sealed and kept in a mayonnaise jar since noon that day. "Sign your life away in vanishing ink and off you go," they stated. There was no fine print regarding vows to defend the wall, but we "took the black" anyway in the form of warm, medieval cloaks. We then conjured up some gloves, popped some chill pills, and transported ourselves via portkey into the frozen tomb. All about priorities, we bellied up to the bar and ordered, "A LA PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICHES!" POOF! Krekling Arctic Crowberry Frost materialized, served in glasses made of ice. The drink was pretty, super sweet, and Lady Olenna approved (poison stones cost extra). As our drinks slipped about on the icy tables, some guy named Jon passed by, mumbled something about winter coming, and then walked off. "You know nothing, Jon Snow," we soberly answered back. Feeling refreshed, we checked out the mesmerizing ice art around the room. The sculptures were all delightfully silly to take selfies with and helped to break the ice with strangers. Some of the art was interactive, leaving spaces in which to stick in your face, with or without a frozen expressions. We particularly enjoyed the ice Scream sculptures, which were cheeky nods to Munch and Dairy Queen. But the Pièce de résistance was the majestic ice throne in the center of the bar, sans icy Lannisters. Madonna's "Vogue" was playing at one point, so we played a little Game of Pose to decide who would win the coveted crowning. We spent less than an hour in the bar and decided in our mystical and borderline divine way that we needed to leave once we lost feeling in our faces and sandal-clad feet. Overall this was a fun experience, but once was enough hocus pocus for me. "Just when I think I'm gonna get away, I hear those words that you always say Abra-abra-cadabra, I want to reach out and grab ya!" (Steve Miller Band)

The drinks are a little sugary; perhaps you should just go for straight up vodka or akvavit. It was also a little empty when I was there in Late December. I'm sure it gets busier at certain times. The best part of this place is the ice sculptures. Each year they have artists craft new sculptures in ice. You can view them as you sip on your iced drink and sit on animal fur atop ice blocks. It's worth a visit for at least one drink.

And (as many of…read moreyou know), we love going to shows and have been to all kinds of concert halls and venues here in the States, but going to rooms abroad was super fun - and Sentrum Scene was our very favorite of the six venues we visited in Europe. Believe me when I say this is a SUPER cool room to see a show in!!!! OK so what makes it cool? The room just looks crazy cool. My husband and his friend rode the rail at this show, so they were right up front. But I don't like to be in the middle of the mosh pit, so I watched the show from the top of the balcony -- and I was treated to a most amazing visual spectacle. Lights in this room just look SICK. The ambiance is enhanced by these crazy round discs that are all over the walls and ceiling. The ones on the wall look like huge discs and the ones hanging from the ceiling look kind of like flying saucers. But when you add show lights to that, against the dark/black ceiling and it all just looks SUPER cool, especially if you are seeing a band with a lighting technician worth his or her salt. Acoustics in this room were also excellent (thank you to all those cool sound discs!) and having the option to be upstairs or down and still have a great view was really wonderful. Staff was generally pretty friendly and I have no complaints. Would love to come back sometime!

However after that the experience kinda sucked. This was my first standing room only concert and definitely my last. The room once we got inside was dirty with cups and straws and just trash everywhere and there wasn't even a lot of people in there to begin with! So no the amount of people in there could not have generated that trash. The drinks were expensive which ok I expected that--but they were gross! The Smirnoff ice I got for example just tasted off and old. The effects of the concert were ok, so they got to keep that star. The room in some spots had a bad smell so it made me wonder how thoroughly they clean this place. The bathrooms were no better. Overall I did not enjoy the venue. Won't be back.
