I recently visited Johnson's Barbeque and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is warm and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Alexis T provided excellent service, and the food, specifically the ribs, brisket, and tacos, was phenomenal. Service Excellence The service provided by Alexis T was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly smile and a warm welcome. Throughout the meal, she was attentive and professional, yet never intrusive. She was knowledgeable about the menu and able to make great recommendations. She was also very accommodating, making sure that my needs were met and that my table was always cleared and clean. Her positive attitude and genuine care for the customers' experience really made the entire dinner special. Food Quality The food at Johnson's Barbeque was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The ribs were tender and juicy, with a perfect balance of smoky flavors and savory spices. The brisket was mouth-watering, with a rich, complex flavor that lingered on my palate long after the meal. It was the kind of brisket that you only find at a true, traditional barbecue joint. The tacos were the star of the show, with soft corn tortillas filled with tender pulled pork, tangy slaw, and a creamy chipotle aioli that tied the flavors together perfectly. They were the perfect combination of textures and tastes. Overall, the food was simply amazing. Overall Experience The entire dining experience at Johnson's Barbeque was truly exceptional. The service was first-rate, and the food was absolutely delicious. I was particularly impressed by the ribs, brisket, and tacos, which were the best I've had in a long time. As a native Florida boy this was truly appreciated :-) The brisket was def above average for FL BBQ. The ribs were good, the smoke wings were very good. The sides were enjoyable too. I wasn't crazy about the bread - it was my only real issue here - which was minor. Johnson's is easily on my top 10 favorite BBQ spots in Florida! We loved the chopped Brisket! We will def be back ! Cheers !

I finally came to the right Bubba's( please see review for Bubba's 33). We arrived like 9:10 pm and pretty much 20 minutes before closing. Er were promptly greeted and we advised them we were going to give their menu a look. We decided on pick 3, which consisted of: brisket, 3 piece ribs, and half a chicken, for the sides were got macaroni and cheese and crinkled cut fries. We paid for our meal and picked a booth near the entrance. I almost forgot to mention we got a drink an made us some Arnold Palmer and for dessert with got banana pudding. We sat at our booth and our food arrived nice and hot. Fries very tasty and crunchy. We dived into the food I had a piece of brisket, nicely smoked and very moist. They had a variety of barbeque sauces you can you at your leisure. I picked a vinegar flavored and hickory sweet smoke which I alternated as I ate the meats. Let's talk sides. French fries fresh and crispy, now when it came for the macaroni it gives you flavor of the KFC version, it's alright. It came with a piece of toast. Taste similar to the cheez bread from Sizzlers just softer. (I'm showing my age). We had so much food and unless I'm very hungry we tend to share a plate. We took the banana pudding home and later tried it. The banana pudding was OMG, to die for, it had a very homemade taste. I highly recommend this dessert. Restaurant had a very cozy feel. The ambiance seem kind of quiet, but mind you we went on a Sunday night. The workers were very polite and attentive. If in the Brandon area, this is a must try.

The food itself was amazing! full of flavor and cooked perfectly. but what really stood out to me was the overall experience. The service was great, and the décor and ambiance were phenomenal. It has this super cute, rustic, authentic barbecue vibe that makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in. My favorite part (and a MUST-try) was the brisket, hands down one of the best I've had. Everything felt well thought out, from the easy parking to the clean, private bathrooms, which just made the visit even better. This is definitely a place I would go back to again without hesitation. If you're debating making the drive, do it. it's completely worth it. 10/10

I've had their food at Lightning games & was very impressed. That was nothing compared to what we housed after a brutal few hours at Adventure Island (just 15 mins away FYI). Yard Bird was among the best I've had. Same for the collards & Mac & cheese. My boo had the superb cheese grits and 5-star cornbread casserole. Corn nuggets were a great appetizer. Service was excellent as well. Super friendly. This place belongs in the conversation for Tampa's best barbecue. Or, I could be a prisoner of the moment. You decide.

We called and they had great customer service and offered to let us come pick it up and throw in a dessert. However, when you've already paid for delivery and a tip, it's just really annoying. We are glad we did pick it up because the dirty dog was our favorite menu item and that was what was missing. My husband said the deconstructed rib sandwich was "ok". The Tampa 2 had so much potential, but the bread was soggy and the Mac and cheese really didn't have much flavor. My son did love his pulled pork sandwich and banana pudding. We're glad we tried it but would try something else next time.
