The locker rooms are clean, well-maintained, and spacious- the great locker room is one of the things that I loved about this gym when I went there regularly. The ladies' room has hair dryers and styling tools, which makes it super-convenient for a mid-day workout. There's also a place to relax in the locker room with a TV, magazines, and comfortable seating. I found it nice to unwind during my lunch break and sometimes spent more time reading/relaxing in the sauna and locker room than I did working out. I've never had a problem finding the equipment I wanted to use and have never had to wait long for any equipment. Overall, it has the feel of an upscale gym. The only downside is that if you need late/irregular hours, this probably isn't the best place. Since it's affiliated with the University, it will close or open late sometimes when weather conditions are bad or predicted to be bad.

Its a great deal for younger members to hang out there with boom boxes and lay in the floor in the Ab-room or what ever its called. It's cheaper, fully staffed, sauna, tons of equipment and no confrontations.

They have all the materials you would need (mats, stretch bands, etc) in the room as well for you to use. It does take a minute or two for it to start, but it's a wonderful addition to your workout routine. I like to use it to make sure I stretch well. Girls, I know several of you have problems with men who bring boomboxes and the ridiculous, uncalled for grunting. Well, that hasn't been the issue here! Headphones are required if you want to listen to your own music rather than the alternative/pop/hits that they play softly over the speakers. I first came to this gym when I received an invite from a friend for their women's self defense class (very informative!). The owner, Isaac, showed me around and I told the bf we should check it out. It was looong over due that we finally joined a gym. Because it is a 24 hour gym, I don't feel like I need to keep track of when they are open. I can go any time I please! The staff is very friendly, and I don't feel like my every move is being watched and scrutinized. Additionally, they have a honor system for drinks and protein bars, showers, and tanning rooms (shame on you for doing that to your skin). Signing up was super easy. The first month is just under $9. After that, it's under $30/person depending on how many you have on your plan. Everyone is required to have the card that unlocks the doors which is a $20 fee that only needs to be paid once (unless you lose yours). With your month-to-month plan, you get a few extras tacked on to help you get fit. And there isn't really a contract! You do have to give a 30 day notice if you want to stop it; but, hey, you 'll probably never want to leave this gym.

The final thing is the reason why I gave this gym 1 star and that is, because they won't let you leave the gym or get out of your contract with this anytime fitness unless you have a doctor's note! I can't quite remember how much the day passes were but it was pretty reasonable ($10 or $15). The inside is quite spacious with both a powerlifting and strongman side. If I recall correctly there are 6 combo racks, 2 squat cages, and 4 deadlift platforms. Aside from that, there's a small turf area for warmup space and plenty of machines and dumb bells. Overall, I enjoyed the space, people, and vibe that Brewhouse Barbell provided during our visit. Looking forward to coming back and visiting whenever we're in the OKC area!
