Some of the vegetables are things you'd struggle to find elsewhere. Having come in search of some horchata, I found multiple brands of powdered horchata in the Salvadoran style with a mix of powdered seeds (not just rice). So, mission accomplished there. And finally, there are some freshly prepared foods that make the co-op a destination store for me. Sushi. And those spicy samosas that are kept in the warmer near the soups. Especially the cabbage one! Apparently they are made by Zemen, the Ethiopian grocery on Maple, so you could also look for them there. That is the co-op the way I experience it.
