In an effort to make this right, the owner of the company contacted me earlier this year to apologize and discuss what he could do to help. He had the collection account closed and the collection agency removed their entry from my credit report. Obviously, I wish this had never happened in the first place, but it's great that the owner decided to step in and do something about it. Thank you! As such, I'm changing this review to 3 stars. Original review follows: Atrocious customer relations. I called to ask them about a potential issue with my garage door. I was told that, since my home was on the way for an employee the following morning, someone would stop by to take a look. There was no discussion of a charge for this, neither implicitly nor explicitly. That person did stop by and was both courteous and helpful. However, he was only here for a few minutes and told me there was nothing they could do about the issue. Again, no discussion about a charge took place (though I'd happily buy the guy lunch in exchange for the few minutes he spent). A month or so later, I received a bill for this experience and a threat to take it to collections. The office refused to offer any sort of compromise or attempt to acknowledge the oddness of this bill. While I thought a dialogue about it was still ongoing, they went ahead and sent it to a collection agency. Despicable.

I purchased 20' of seal to do two doors. He comes out from the back with a 20' piece. So about a $100.00 later I get home and instal the seal. The channel pushes the bubble out the front of the door. It is a single groove and the bubble needs to be under the door, not in front of it. So I swing back through and talk to Mr Know it all and tell him the issue. No refunds and that's all they have and I'm stuck with it. Lost a customer and wouldn't recommend them.

Ramon Manka, the "pro" that was sent, arrived in a small passenger car, rather than a truck or van. He was accompanied by Ruby, his assistant? girlfriend? Ramon quickly realized he forgot a tool and went home to get it. Meaning that he was, for all intents and purposes, late. Once the job was underway, materials were needed, which was anticipated. I used Zelle to send money to Ramon's personal account and his professional account. Then, after about an hour, I had to go to the home improvement store myself because Ramon thought he didn't have enough money, and he didn't have room to transport the materials, since, again no truck or van. I paid out of pocket and Ramon never returned the money I had transferred to him. At midnight, the job wasn't finished. The next day, Ramon sent an invoice for his extra time. I ignored the invoice, at the advice of Angi, which again, was the contractor. So Ramon picked up his stuff and left. The job was not only unfinished, but poorly done. Ramon claimed that the job was taking longer than agreed to. This was true. It was agreed to for 3.5 hours, and it had been 7. Even subtracting an hour for shopping and an hour for added difficulty, Ramon still had been working for 90 minutes over what had been agreed upon, and still wasn't finished. And Angi still added $200 to the fee to cover the additional time. All-in-all, 1 star. I would not hire again. And I am considering legal action to recover the money transferred to him, which was not used for supplies.
