Hotel is extremely clean, lobby has nice open clean inviting feeling to it. Both our rooms have been very clean, plenty of towels, nice size TV for each room we stayed in. Just as described in their website. Staff is there to assist when need. As in they provide a toothbrush free of charge when one us forgot to pack on of last visit. The only thing negative things I could say is the lighting in the elevator is dull. Is like being at a nightclub. The other, directions getting here from the Interstate is a little tricky. So, pay attention. The stay here is worth it.

Here is my review: If you are a hotel snob, don't stay here. If you need a no frills, place to shower and sleep, this place is for you. The owners were really nice. It is an older hotel but the beds were super comfy and the pillows were nice. The area seemed safe with a Dollar General and other shops near by. Several good places to eat near too. The room was clean. The front office was locked and you do your business through a small window. They don't have breakfast even tho it's advertised on the sign. Something about Covid, but I think that's silly, personally. Website didn't say there was a hairdryer in the room so I brought one, but there was. I was bummed there was no coffee maker in the room but I read that and brought my own along with some towels because someone complained about the towels. They seemed fine to me. I saw no bugs either. Anyhow, I was traveling with my 86 year old mom and she loved the bed also. We would stay here again if we were ever in the area again.

He said he could only give me 3 extra blankets if I gave him a credit card as security. I said ok. Then he brought out two old thin blankets. I said I wanted three. He said no I can't only give you two. I said ok then. I went to the room and spread the blankets out and one has several large cigarette burns on it. So I took pics and went back to show him. He said that he knew the burn holes were there and he wouldn't charge me for that (outrageous that he knew it had burn holes and he gave it to me anyway) so I said ok but I'm going to complain to Priceline because this isn't a two and a half star hotel then. He said I want you out of here. I said no we're settled in. I'm paid for it. It was non refundable. He said no, I want you out of here and he called the police. They came within minutes and told us to leave. This was certainly one of the worst experiences I ever had at any hotel. Don't book this hotel. You will be disappointed. The owner manages it himself and he is the biggest jerk on the planet.

There were dried boogers on the bathroom door and inside the shower. Please do not stay here. Hopefully it's just psychological, but we couldn't help but feel like there was/is some little bugs crawling. We also did not walk anywhere in the room without shoes on.
