Just recently stated here from March 27 thru 29 the front desk was closed all day Saturday we had to buy toilet paper couldn't get any the room needs new sink it's cracked the toilet need to be fix the chain on the flusher is broken and tv needs to go be cleaned it looks like someone spilled a drink on it and one of the beds needs a new mattress it's makes alot of noise when you move on it read more

The room was clean but the owner/manager was extremely cheap and rude. I asked for 3 extra thin blankets because there was only one very thin blanket on the bed. He said he could only give me 3 extra blankets if I gave him a credit card as security. I said ok. Then he brought out two old thin blankets. I said I wanted three. He said no I can't only give you two. I said ok then. I went to the room and spread the blankets out and one has several large cigarette burns on it. So I took pics and went back to show him. He said that he knew the burn holes were there and he wouldn't charge me for that (outrageous that he knew it had burn holes and he gave it to me anyway) so I said ok but I'm going to complain to Priceline because this isn't a two and a half star hotel then. He said I want you out of here. I said no we're settled in. I'm paid for it. It was non refundable. He said no, I want you out of here and he called the police. They came within minutes and told us to leave. This was certainly one of the worst experiences I ever had at any hotel. Don't book this hotel. You will be disappointed. The owner manages it himself and he is the biggest jerk on the planet. read more

Wife and I stayed here, Econo Lodge, Andalusia, Alabama, for 4 days. Had a pleasure/ business trip. The place was safe, clean and the staff were very friendly and attentive to your needs. The manager Mr. Patel every time he saw us, asked if everything was fine and or if we needed anything. read more

This is an Econo Lodge and rooms are rooms, but what makes this a 5-star review is the impeccable service from the manager, Danny Patel. I was participating in a ministry weekend in the local area and had to bring my dog. The rates were affordable and Danny went out of his way to take care of us. I will stay here everytime I have to bring my dog to ministry weekends. Thank you Danny for a great, comfortable, and pleasant weekend. read more

This is a good clean hotel. Didn't get the rooms we booked but got something for the same price. The bathtub was broken and I was worried about hurting my foot. Luckily I didn't. The hair dryer in my room sparked and quit working while I was using it. Definitely scared me. The air conditioner doesn't cool the room down totally but helps. Would recommend to bring a fan. The pool and area was clean and nice. Not the biggest pool but bigger than what I have seen in the past hotels. It is outside and does have seating. Would stay here in a pinch but I don't think the rooms are worth the price. read more

The Econo Lodge took us in after the Quality Inn failed to meet health regulations. We went over in the middle the night and they accommodated us so quickly, and were friendly. The rooms are a little bit outdated they are clean and comfortable for the nights that we stayed. The 2 ladies we felt with at the desk-one at night (said she had worked there 10+years) and the other lady (Super Alabama fan!) both we so friendly - thanks ladies for the hospitality. read more

Worst stay ever, transformer blew in the middle of the night and they lost all power and had no back up generator at nearly 90 degrees outside with no air Nicole at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. No compensation was offered and when asked they were not willing to even offer anything. Housekeeper was pounding on door while we were still sleeping, room smelled funny, pool was filled ants, and they didn't offer extra towels since we had 4 people staying. We will never stay again. Came from out of town to visit family & should of stayed in a tent instead!!!! read more

We were a few hours away from home when our vehicle's water pump failed. While waiting on roadside assistance, I called several hotels in Andalusia, AL to get a room for us & our dog. The Econo Lodge was the only hotel that allowed pets. Haley took the reservation & remembered my name when we checked in. Yes, the hotel is dated & doesn't have some features like elevators or interior rooms or high thread count sheets. But it had what we wanted - a comfortable, clean bed & bath, & a nice place to walk our dog. Haley also managed to find us a ride to the car dealership the next morning (thanks, Daniel!). We would definitely recommend the Econo Lodge, especially if you have a pet. (There is an extra pet charge, but it was not unreasonable.) read more

Vk an Sonia were great. Recently there from Florida during hurricane Irma. Staff very attentive. Hotel a little dated but clean. Nice pool, walking distance to restaurants. Pet friendly. Was concerned prior to arriving due they fact this was the only hotel we could get a reservation with our dog. But turned out great! read more
