They had a nice terrace and held a low-key viewing event for the eclipse. All-in-all we had the perfect little weekend getaway thanks to the Sheraton!

Hotel is connected to Jackson Square and the bus terminal is right across the street. FYI: Go Bus serving YYZ and towards Richmond Hill has a stop in front of the hotel.

Catering was good. The restaurant/bar on site is spacious and a solid menu. There is a Sheraton Club on-site as well. Plenty of parking. Less than ten minutes to the airport. They have an airport shuttle as well.

During the pandemic, this Residence Inn was built next to the Fairfield. When I had arrived in Mississauga late on a Sunday evening roughly three weeks ago, I decided to use some Marriott points towards a free night's stay at this hotel. It would be a bit easier dropping by the office the following day before heading home. This hotel has a lot of parking. I got a spot directly in front of the main doors at 11:30 pm and rolled my luggage in. I had the nicest man at the front desk check me in. I can never tell these days if hotel staffers are naturally that nice because they rarely see humans at this hour or if it has to do with my having Titanium elite status that I seem like a rare specimen. He was great telling me when the breakfast area was open. He also gave me a couple of room cards. I asked him if I could check out late. I asked for 2 pm, but he went the extra mile and gave me 3 pm for good measure. I could go as far as 4 pm, but I didn't need that much time. I thanked him and headed up to my room. It took me a while to figure out that I had a special accessibility room. I didn't ask for one, but it was cool seeing extra handles in the bathroom. It was weird seeing hangers that were lower to the ground. It was odd for a tall person to bend my knees a bit, but it was fine. I loved the kitchenette. I had canned drinks and water. I shoved all of them in the fridge. I noticed on the dining table that there was a welcome bag with a nice note from this hotel. I got two bottles of water, a small bag of chips, and a KitKat bar. It was a lovely gesture and a nice touch. This room felt cozy. I had bought a quarter pounder with cheese combo from the McDonald's diagonally across the street before checking in. I enjoyed my food and Diet Coke sitting on a comfy couch, watching television. The screen was crisp and the sound was excellent. The bathroom was great. I enjoyed a relaxing shower after a good travel day. The water pressure was excellent and I felt like I was getting a massage. The only weird thing was seeing a moth fly out from the folded towels. There is a Chinese superstition that when you see a moth, it means that a deceased person from your past is visiting you. I had visited two late friends while stateside. I didn't know which spirit was visiting me. I went with my mentor because he was the last person that I had paid a visit. It was cool and incredibly unexpected. The next day, I headed downstairs for breakfast. I got there at 8 am and it wasn't too busy. The hot breakfast choices were amazing. Smoked sausage. Sausage links. Hash browns. Scrambled eggs. Waffles. It was an impressive spread. I was impressed to see Silk soy beverage and lactose-free milk. Normally, I get dairy-free beverage. I didn't have time to and I'm glad that I didn't have to. For some reason, juice at Marriott hotels is excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the pear apple juice that I went back for seconds. I don't drink fruit juice regularly, so it feels like I treat when I have some at a hotel. I sat in the dining area for breakfast. It was pleasant and relaxing. I loved it. I slept so well on the king-sized bed. It had the perfect firmness. The only downside was that I could hear the music playing by the elevators. I was so tired that I managed to block it while I slept. I worked in my room all morning and into the early part of the afternoon. It was comfortable and I was productive. From charging ports to the desk and chair, all was great. The wifi connection was excellent. I normally fetch lunch by getting takeout. I went fancy and got food delivered from Uber Eats. It was a rainy day, so I decided to stay dry and toasty indoors. The woman brought my food all the way up to my door. Some hotels don't allow that access, but this one does. I liked it. I checked out at 2 pm. I couldn't check out through the Marriott Bonvoy app. Instead, I checked out by stopping at the front desk. I got three staffers who were delightful. One asked how my stay was. I do think that when they see a Titanium elite person, it's almost a reflex reaction to be even more charming and nice than they already are. It was a nice touch, although I am the type that just wants to be treated well regardless of whatever points status that I have. I had an excellent stay. Hilton I'm a fan, not of Perez Hilton but of the Hilton hotels. Hilton is my new place to stay. They seem to be everywhere! They are affordable, centrally located, clean and spacious, with great customer service. I seem to travel a lot lately and I'm always looking for a good deal. I'm not trying to spend all my money on a hotel and Hilton hotels are affordable! Every time I call Hilton they give me tons of options in the city that I am visiting and a hotel at a price range I can afford. There are a lot of hotels that are pricey but at least I have my choice of the Hilton's I want to stay at. We picked this hotel because it was $150 a night. There was other Hiltons in the downtown area that cost around $400 a night. This hotel is about 30 minutes from downtown Toronto. If you're looking to go to the CN Tower and that area it's all about 30 minutes away. This Homewood Suites was close to Toronto airport, clean, and had a huge room (even though you can't tell from the pictures). The bed was comfortable even though the pillows could've been a little bit softer. The bathroom was basic but the room had a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher and a stove. All of your kitchen needs, which come in handy if you're staying a long period of time. If you don't feel like cooking, your room stay includes free dinner and breakfast. You can go down for the buffet for dinner or for breakfast in the morning. My mom enjoyed the breakfast but I didn't try it. I like to sleep in and breakfast was served from 6 to 9am. The good news is they have free coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24 hours a day. Customer Service is always good at Hilton and this hotel was the same. The girls behind the desk were fantastic. They took plenty of time to show me where everything was. They gave me a nice map of Toronto and the places to see. They also had a small snack shop next to the check in area. My only complaint was the hotel didn't come with a bell guy. Yes I'm spoiled. I grabbed our own cart and carried our stuff up. However, I am ok with no bell guy if our room is pretty cheap. Lastly, remember to give them your AAA number if you're a member and join join the Hilton Honors program to save the most money!

I woke up expecting at least a decent breakfast, especially since breakfast is included with the stay. Instead, the eggs were cold, the sausage was cold, and the entire food area was dirty and unappealing. When guests are paying this much per night, a clean breakfast area and a decent hot breakfast should be the bare minimum. Breakfast being "included" means very little when the quality is this poor. Very disappointing experience. For the amount I paid, I expected much better from a Hilton property. Never again.

Just not a comfortable place to stay. Definitely not some place I'd recommend.

My sister was arriving before me and 3 of the nights were under my name. She let one of the employees know and he was able to assist. The day after I arrived, I went up and told him what i needed and was told, he'd already seen me downstairs and was already working on the change of the reservation. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful, probably one of the best instances of customer service I have received. The room was exceptionally clean and even though cleaning was only supposed to be every 3rd day, the first two mornings they clean the room and even laid all of our personal belongings very carefully and neatly. My son's stuffed animal was neatly placed on top of nicely folded sheets, he loved it. After that we made sure to put the door hanger on the door so they didn't need to clean for us. The room had a full size fridge and a nice freezer, dishwasher and plenty of cups and utensils. The bathroom was stocked with TP and facial tissues and plenty of towels. The only thing that kinda bummed me out was the bed was sagging badly on one side and it caused me to keep rolling into that divet when I slept. Also, the ice maker on floor 7 did not work, so the next floor that had an ice maker was floor 5. Breakfast was not the best, but considering it's included in the cost, I won't ding any stars for that. I did wish there was a pancake maker or waffle makers. The only hot breakfast items were pre-made breakfast sandwiches which were soggy on the bottom and hard on top and some microwave style omelettes that did not taste good. The cereal was fine and plentiful as well as there were yogurt and fruit options. There were also bagels, toast and muffins. Overall not a bad breakfast but nothing special. Honestly what makes this hotel special is the staff is so welcoming and friendly. The size of the room was great for 3 people, we were not cramped at all. It was a very nice stay at this hotel.

Located in the middle of an industrial or heavy commercial neighborhood, we were surrounded by freeways and semi-trucks. Walking around the area for fun wasn't an option, nor was exploring the neighborhood for quaint places to eat. But, as far as accomodiations go it was fine. The staff were very friendly. When we booked in we were told the pool was not open (which was a huge disappointment) but it turns out they were doing a cleaning and it would be open the next day. This was okay, and we had fun swimming one day (except my toddler, who was scared by my cannonball splash!) Our rooms featured a small kitchen suite complete with everything you might need like plates, silverware, cooking pots, etc. The bed was comfortable though it started to come undone by the second night. Perhaps that was a combination of us pulling the sheets and struggling to get the room into a nice temperature range. It was either really hot or really cold, with the A/C blowing literally onto the bed 6" away from it. Our view out of the window overlooked more truck distribution centers, but the airport a mile away provided Harrison with lots of views of planes coming and going. The glass walled shower was fun for him to play in with the water too. A couple of nits: they offered a nice hot breakfast but it never varied the three days we were there. I like english muffin breakfast sandwiches, but by the last day I wanted a waffle or pancakes or something else. They have Nutella spread on request. Their door locks close really hard and can be heard down the hall, and they will wake you in the night if you are a light sleeper. Also, we were warned on checking in not to keep valuables in your car... and on my elevator ride up I talked with a guy whose car was stolen here last year. Yikes! You get what you pay for here. If you have a working GPS, don't mind a busy neighboorhood in the middle of nowhere, and don't want to spend a lot of money you will be fine.

By the time I got here, I was ready to collapse and it was only 9pm. The Bed was so comfortable, by the time I went to sleep at 10pm, I was out cold in 5 minutes and did not wake up until 8:30am, the next morning. The breakfast buffet offers all you need to be fueled up. Oatmeal, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit (pineapple, banana, cantaloupe, grapefruit, and apples), yogurt, all sorts of coffee, cooled hard boiled eggs, coffee cake, toast, bagel, cereal (Cheerios, Raisin Bran, Cornflakes) and the creme-de-l'creme: the waffle maker, just 1: you need to devise a battle plan to ever have a chance to make a waffle as everyone is vying to make waffles (best bet: get there at 6am when the breakfast is first served and no one is awake.) While I've had better breakfast buffets, this did the job. Coffee was excellent which is what matters most. The rooms offer a nice 40" Flat screen TV with excellent reception and all the TV channels you need to find something worth watching. The entire hotel is very clean and organized. The only areas I had issues with were the showers (good water quality but slightly lower pressure than preferred) and the elevators (a little slower than expected). Despite that, would definitely stay here again. For those coming to Toronto via Pearson Int'l, this place does not offer a free airport shuttle so make sure to plan ahead getting here, about 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic.
