Great price... I would rate 5 stars had 1 of the 2 jet skis I rented few years back not break down on us less then half the day in bass lake. I was told by tony to buy a battery, connect it and I'll be reimbursed for the battery but I didn't want to take responsibility for that and screw something else up since i don't know much about jetskis. Tony mentioned I had till the season was over to use a credit towards a free rental and Jetski upgrade but it was too hard to even get family together for a day at the lake so I guess I took a loss and left it at that . Theres a chance I change my mind and rate better if something was worked out. UPDATE review... tony worked it out with me and made up for the jetski that had battery issues 3 yrs ago... glad he was professional about it and also honest about a boat that he wasn't to comfortable renting out that I reserved so he upgraded me to a different boat amazing thanks tony.... we look forward to our day at the lake. read more

Find a reputable company. Total scam. Requested a boat for 8 people to wakeboard. The boat was a complete wreck as well as a safety hazard. No visibility through the windshield, steering and throttle linkage dangerous. Completely unsafe. Could not even get a skier up with 4 people in the boat. Boat was a total piece of junk. Told Tony to come pick it up as it was unsafe and not even close to what he represented. 3 day rental used for one hour (including the mechanic who did the evaluation.) Refused to refund any of my payment. I will be seeing Tony in court. Avoid these guys. read more

We rented two jet skis. We took pictures of both at the time of delivery. One had some pre existing damage to the front. We pointed this out and were advised not to worry, it was just cosmetic. We didn't have the option to unscrew the front bumper to very there was no damage to the interior of it. We returned them and also made sure to take pictures at that time. There wasn't any damage caused to any of the skis. Two days later I received an email that one of the skis had extensive damage and that they would be keeping my entire $800 deposit. I immediately tried calling and couldn't get thru. I emailed back and also provided pictures, that had a date and time stamp on them. I let them know we did not cause any damage and the damage on the exterior was preexisting. I was advised that they would review the pictures and investigate to determine we didn't cause the damage. I followed up the next day and was told they would be refunding the entire amount. I thought everything was fine until I checked both my checking account and credit card account. They had charged the credit card the full deposit and my checking account also had a charge. I had used my atm card to make the reservation and pay the $10.00 deposit, but paid cash for the rentals. I contacted them via email again and was told the total damages exceeded my deposit amount, so they charged my checking account. I was told that if we didn't cause the damage they would refund me. But, that they also needed to confirm we paid for the rental, not sure what they are referring to now. Needless to say, I'm currently disputing both these charges. Never rent from them. I'm in the process of filing a complaint with BBB. They are big time scammers...: read more

We have rented from a few different rental companies in the past. Most of which were already located up by the lake. The one thing I realized after getting a boat from best value rentals is there equipment is in top notch excellent shape! You really feel great out on the water when your on a nice new boat. All of his jetskis and boats are newer models and are not all trashy looking which was a plus. The boats and jetskis that are sitting on the water tend to be in not very good shape. This guy really takes his customers and his business serious. He took the time to explain how everything works. I would definitely recommend this company and all there services. I noticed upon check out that he had a party bus for rent also...maybe in the future we can take that out for the night.... read more

Run as fast as you can from this company !!! Got an estimate from this company for a party bus. $900 bucks for 3 hours. It sounded great . I wanted to see the limo bus , so after a couple missed attempts , we finally got to see it. We arrived at personal home and the bus along with other limo type vehicles parked outside. I knew it was then a "mom and pop" but I wasn't worried. I love to support small business, plus they let my daughter use the restroom. After we viewed the bus, I mentioned that we would be getting married in Reedley and the price shot up to $1200. I was ok with this. Then a couple of weeks later I reached out to get the final numbers after deposit and the price jumped to $1500! At this point I was a little confused about the pricing. They told me because its out of town that I would be charged more. I asked if it included a ride to my venue and they had the nerve to crack a joke stating " Unfortunately no, but I have a home in clovis y'all could make a stop too "..... What the heck was that supposed to mean ? Very unprofessional . I told them I wanted to cancel and they apologized and stated that they were just joking !! Be aware that the boats they rent are beat up and do not run well. We returned one boat because the floor was caving in and it died when you changed from reverse to forward. The 2nd boat we received had a burning rubber smell that made everyone on the boat nauseous. WATCH OUT!! This guy is a scammer. We were charged full price for waverunners that were misfiring and leaning to one side and already wrecked before we rented. He made bogus claims that there was damage to the propeller when we brought them back. I wonder how that can happen being in almost 5 feet of water + the whole time. Expensive for what you get. The dude sends you stock photos and talks up what an amazing boat he has and when it shows it, its beat to hell. Our seats werent even bolted to the floor and my kids chair would fall over everytime we hit a bump. You can surely find better for the price. If your in a pinch it will do.... read more

I called today in hopes to find out some information for my boyfriends upcoming birthday. I was looking forward to surprising him with the red slingshot car they have. I wanted to know if they have military discounts and the man that answered the phone just yelled out "WE ARE CLOSED", I was kind of thrown off by the way the phone was answered so I didn't say anything, again he yelled "WE ARE CLOSED". I than asked ok so I cant find out any information???? He said if its a quick question. I just said Nevermind and hung up. I am not sure if this is how a business is supposed to treat potential new customers, but I was disappointed at their lack of customer service, and now I wont be renting the car. read more

I recently rented 2 jet skis for a weekend at the lake. A few days prior to picking up the jet skis, I called Tony and told him that Bass lake had called us and notified us that the lake may be closed when we were camping because there is a wild fire close by and the planes may need to use the lake to pick up water from. I asked if so, could I cancel my reservation. He said "No. That is to short of a notice". He said I could move the rental date to another date but he would not let me cancel it. I explained that we were having a family reunion there and that another date would not work. I was thankful that the lake was able to stay open since I could not cancel my reservations. When I arrived at there business 5 minutes to there opening time, nobody was there. I first talked to a worker moving around jet skis and told him that I was here to pick up 2 that I had rented. He told me I would have to wait for the owner to show up. He pointed to the 2 that I had rented and I about fainted. They were the most beat up jet skis I had ever seen. The pictures on the website were new looking jet skis. Tony then told me that he had just got one of the jet skis out of the paint shop and that it had a fresh coat of paint on it for me. His "fresh coat of paint' was literally spray painted with gloss black paint. It was a disaster with 5 people trying to pick up there rentals at the same time. Tony finally has me meet him in his office to get the paperwork signed. walking into the "house" I was told to step over the pile of dog crap that was on the ground and to not walk in the dog pee. Entering a business, this took me by complete surprise. As we were filling out the paper work, I asked Tony if the jet skis were full of fuel. He said " I'm not sure. You may have to fill them up". We had just gone over his rules stating that if I did not bring the jet skis back full of fuel I would be charged an additional amount. On the way to the lake, I had to pull off the freeway because the plastic nose piece of one of the jet skis was only being held on with 1 screw and was flapping along the side of the jet ski. I went into a hardware store and bought 2 screws and put them into the plastic piece so it would stay on. Before getting back on the freeway I decided to stop into a gas station and check the fuel levels on the jet skis. One of them was full and one had a quarter tank. I filled it up before proceeding. When I got the jet skis into the lake and started to use them, I was extremely disappointed. These skis were the biggest and slowest pieces of junk on the water. My brother has 2 jet skis that he brought up as well that are 13 years old, and they were much faster and nicer than the ones I had rented. At one point in my day on the lake, the sheriff came by to talk to us about a boater driving recklessly, and he pointed to our jet skis and said "best value?" I said yes, and he laughed and said how can I guess. When I pick up the jet skis from tony, he told us to have them back by 8:00 pm. I showed up back at his "business" at 6:00 pm. Nobody was around. I called Tony 3 times on the phone to let him know that I was here and was trying to drop off the jet skis, but he did not answer. As I was waiting for him to call me back, another renter showed up and said that Tony had told him to just drop them off because he would not be around. I did the same thing and took pictures of them sitting in his yard. I also text Tony and let him know what the other renter had told me and asked if this was correct. He said "yes. I will check them in next week". I was a little uneasy just leaving the jet skis and life jackets sit there, but that is what I was told to do. I heard nothing from Tony and assumed he got them checked in. Three weeks later I get a charge on my credit card from Tony. I tried calling him to ask what the charge was for, but he would not answer. I text him the same question, and he replied that he would have to look into it, and to text him tomorrow. I would of thought as a "business" he would have CALLED me back to let me know what he found. I finally got ahold of him 2 days later and he told me the charge was from damage to the jet skis. I asked for pictures and he sent me some blurry pictures off his computer screen. He said that one of the jet skis had sucked up a rock, and I was lucky he had not charged me for a prop. The picture of the rock in the jet ski was a close up picture that could have been taken of any jet ski at any time. As I argued with Tony over text, because he never calls anyone, he got angry and said that he may just want to take a closer look into the jet skis to see if there is any damage that his guy missed. That is his way of trying to threaten people into paying. This company is the biggest scam around. I wish that I had read the reviews before renting from this so called business. I would give this business zero stars if I was able to. BE WARE. read more
