Tech did not explain what code he cleared And got a lot of smart ass feedback . 1. Kitchen sink side counter should not be wet . 2 Maybe water is dripping in , and that is not going to be covered in warranty 3 Since we have a water softener Use 1/4 of the soap tablet ! 4 If not , we will have soap film on plates 5 Front metal front shows water spots indicating possible seepage . The first company said the problem was the compressor. It's been a week and I still haven't received their quote or any reply to my email and voicemail. But they sure charged me for the call. IFix came, pulled the fridge out from the wall and diagnosed the actual problem - a relay switch that was keeping the compressor from cycling correctly. It was a much less expensive fix than either compressor or a new refrigerator. And, Favio was friendly, helpful and efficient. I will certainly call them first with any other appliance issue I have.
