Anthony with Craftmanship Painting (based out of Crooks, SD) did a truly spectacular, amazing, and…read morewonderful job replacing and painting the rotting siding boards around my dryer vent on my house! I am truly delighted with the final results! My house had severe dry rot on half dozen siding boards around the dryer exhaust vent. When providing the initial estimate, he carefully examined the damaged area, listened to my requirements and completely and clearly understood the job that needed to be done. He removed the broken pieces, replaced with new siding, installed new dryer vent hoods and metal shields, and re-caulked the decayed and worn out corner that was also falling apart and needed to be repaired. The painting job was remarkable, matched the existing paint color very exactly, I can't see any difference in the shade or texture at all ! It's a really big improvement and the house looks like new ! Actually I consider this an good investment because it adds value to the property. Also, I should mention that Anthony is a nice guy to chat with about home maintenance in general, he has a lot of helpful information and is just pleasant to interact with. Anthony has the right tools, the right equipment, and most importantly the right combination of knowledge, talent, and experience to tackle this important home improvement project. I really appreciate his work ethic and skill. I found him to be honest, trustworthy, and responsive to my communication by phone and email. I also feel the price I paid was totally fair and reasonable given the quality of the work and attention to detail. Overall, highly recommended! This company is a valuable asset to the greater Sioux Falls community.

I would call to let him know and i would go straight to voice mail. atleast 6 times. Ended up sending subcontractors to come do it. Did not communicate with them. Told them he was on the way to give them money but never showed. finally told them he told me to pay them directly. News to me, that put me in a very bad spot. Told me the plumber said they were going to be here the next day but he hadn't even called them. I ended up having to call and cordinate everything. everything was susposed to be finished by July 1st. still isn't done because he didn't tell the subcontractors to prep for a exhaust fan. The last time I spoke to him was several weeks ago when he said he was on the way here. Never showed up and I'm going straight to voice mail. No one has been paid for this job by him, I have had to pay the subcontractors myself. it isn't right to expect people to be hours away from home working and not be getting paid.
