Darin and his crew at American Exteriors did a great job on a recent eves-trough and downspout…read morerenovation on my house (new construction in 2006). I needed a downspout moved to another side of the house after I had an outdoor kitchen put in which required the downspout be moved. I asked Darin for a bid and an estimate of what they planned to do, which he spent extra time talking me though the issues of what needed to be done and why. The day they planned to begin work, Darin called to let me know they were starting and should be done that same day, which I appreciated the heads-up. They were completed later in the day as he estimated. I looked over the work they did - not only did they match the original color and style of the eves-troughs and downspouts, everything they did looked seamless and looked as though it had always been part of the house. We also discussed some other drainage and irrigation work I was doing outside and around the house, which he offered some tips and pointers. All in all, they charged a fair price for quality work, and were professional and courteous. That's everything I look for when hiring a contractor, and I definitely recommend them! -Dale from Sioux Falls, SD.

I am truly delighted with the final results! My house had severe dry rot on half dozen siding boards around the dryer exhaust vent. When providing the initial estimate, he carefully examined the damaged area, listened to my requirements and completely and clearly understood the job that needed to be done. He removed the broken pieces, replaced with new siding, installed new dryer vent hoods and metal shields, and re-caulked the decayed and worn out corner that was also falling apart and needed to be repaired. The painting job was remarkable, matched the existing paint color very exactly, I can't see any difference in the shade or texture at all ! It's a really big improvement and the house looks like new ! Actually I consider this an good investment because it adds value to the property. Also, I should mention that Anthony is a nice guy to chat with about home maintenance in general, he has a lot of helpful information and is just pleasant to interact with. Anthony has the right tools, the right equipment, and most importantly the right combination of knowledge, talent, and experience to tackle this important home improvement project. I really appreciate his work ethic and skill. I found him to be honest, trustworthy, and responsive to my communication by phone and email. I also feel the price I paid was totally fair and reasonable given the quality of the work and attention to detail. Overall, highly recommended! This company is a valuable asset to the greater Sioux Falls community.
