Decided to try them out since hubby has driven by this place before and after seeing reviews and a friend mentioning of the mangonada, it was a must. As another reviewer commented and I agree to the dot. Corn was eh, over cooked in out opinion. Got the American which is your basic butter salt n pepper. This place is seriously the best!!! I come here all the time, but can you blame me? They only take cash but it's super cheap. 3$ a corn cheap! I always get the Mexican corn. They season it perfect. You can never go wrong with it. You also have options to have the corn cut down into kernels and put it into a cup, or just have the corn on a stick which is what I prefer. Wait... it gets better and better. They have mangoes too. You can put it into a ziploc or a cup. I prefer the cup it's just easier. They don't make it too spicy or sour either. Another food truck in not the best area. (They sell bootleg movies and CDs as well as corn.) They sell 3 food items, corn, snow cones and mangoes. The corn is $2.50 an ear no matter what style you pick. I am unsure of the price of the mangoes. I had American corn and it was great. Perfectly roasted and not overcooked at all. My friends had the Mexican corn and loved it. The mangoes are served cut up in a spicy red sauce. My friends loved this but I'm not a fan of spicy food so I skipped this one. I cannot rate this highly enough. Be prepared for a wait though. Well, I'm a Seattlite (Born Here) , and my Dad grew up in the Delridge Area..........so I'm just sayin' that as a home girl, my Daddy taught me that Corn on the Cob should be less than an hour off the Field and cooked in boiling water less than 6 minutes.......so all the Corn Stands are not good for me. WAYYYYY overcooked, gummy, chewie, not a crisp kernel to be found. When I met my (Mexican) husband I had to convince him that corn was a vegetable and therefore didn't need to be cooked for an hour...........ALL the corn stands make the grave error of cooking too long in my humble opinion.........regardless of "toppings". read more
