Originally, I thought patching the inside of the basement would suffice. I found Complete Paving & Masonry on Yelp, and reached out; Jerry responded very quickly and was able to come by to provide a visual inspection and a quote. He recommended that work needs to be done on the outside in order to fix the inside. We took a walk around the outside and he provided points of what work needed to be done. Essentially, he recommended to dig up the dirt around the foundation; patch and seal the foundation; put in some gravel and then cover it up with dirt. This would help prevent water from leaking through the foundation into the basement/garage. After conversing with my fellow condo neighbor, we hired Jerry's team to do the work. Within a week, they were able to come on site and start the work. It took them 4 days to do the work (original quote was 3-5 days). Jerry and his team did a magnificent job. They went above and beyond the original estimate's work at no extra charge to improve the water flow surrounding the condo. They also did some additional patch work on the outside of the condo. When the job was completed, Jerry walked me through everything his team did and why it was done, so I was able to understand the reason for the work. Jerry is friendly, honest, and provides top notch service. I highly recommend his team for any mason work.

I recently hired complete paving and masonry for a 3rd job on my property…read more In 2022 they replaced my asphalt driveway and edging, they removed all the landscape timbers and replaced with stone and new asphalt. then in 2025 the front walkway they removed all bricks and landscape timbers and replaced with a paver walkway and matching stone edging. Yesterday the crew was here for the recent job of removing concrete landing step ( which started to fall apart during the winter) and replacing it with a granite step. We contacted the company, shared multiple pictures, and repeatedly asked them to address the problem. We specifically pointed out a visible hump in the driveway that appeared to be preventing the water from draining, including a photo where we circled the hump with the water collecting behind it. We also had a detailed discussion with the company about our concern with winter pooling and the importance of finding a long-term solution. We asked whether grading, additional substrate, or compaction could help prevent the problem. After multiple follow-ups, they eventually returned in the fall of 2025 to address the issue. Unfortunately, the same area has continued to collect water during winter thaws. We recently contacted them again, and they came out to look at the driveway. However, we were not able to come to an agreement on a solution. Their position was that the issue was due to seasonal ground movement and "mother nature." We understand that seasonal ground movement is a reality in New England, but our concern is that a completely new driveway should be designed and installed to provide reliable drainage under normal seasonal conditions at the property. The same area has collected standing water during winter thaws for two consecutive winters, even after the driveway was replaced a second time. We also don't see the same issue with the neighboring driveways. When the water freezes, it creates a sheet of ice in the driveway, which creates a significant slipping hazard. We are disappointed that the drainage issue with the new driveway has still not been resolved.

Natural Gas Fireplace Inserts need Periodic Maintenance…read moreAfter 5 years of perfect service from our unit, this 2022 season, we had the gas fireplace not starting up. Lunkers/Nuno came.. and found the problem was the fireplace gas fittings/etc just needed a CLEANING. So, like any appliance, over time, you'll eventually need the setup checked and cleaned (like a furnace), just so you have a reliable fireplace during the winter season. Nuno recommends every 3-4 years.. have him come out and check it and clean it (he takes it all apart, cleans everything so it's like new).. About $300 every 3-4 years.. it's less than a single tire for some SUVs. Worth every penny.

They pressure you to sign a contract for the work and the work is subpar. It does not meet code or professional workmanship. They sat in my house for couple of hours until i signed despite the fact that i told them i had to check with my attorney and would let them know in the morning. They refused to leave. I should have called the police right then and there. I did contact the police later that week when i saw the results of the job. I also checked with city hall to see if they had pulled a permit as I was told by them that they had the inspector coming next week. This was after they finished the job and wanted payment. Lo and behold city hall said no permit was pulled and no inspection was ordered. Their names are Freddie and Matthew. The work was done by 2 gentlemen who do not speak English. I will be taking legal action on this matter to recoup what i paid since I have to have all the work completely redone and it has comprised the integrity of our 4 season room. I also just recently lost my husband and they preyed on that. Unfortunately, i was scammed. I repeat, do not use them.
