They chose to start with the leak under the foundation and told me up front that our part of the cost would be $2,250.00. American Home shield paid $1,000.00 and our part was $2,250. James the owner ask me to pay $2,000.00 which I gave him a check for. It took from October 19, 2018 to November 8, to find, repair and concrete the floor. There was always some excuse for not coming. Worker-sick, can,t find helpers, etc. They never addressed the other problems that was on the call from American Home Shield. After so much trouble with them and the problem not being totally resolved We gave up. We called American Home Shield and ask if they looked into contractors before they contract with them they said we ask for their license and that is all. We have cancelled checks and telephone call logs on the payments and contacts. Our Homeowners insurance tried to get information after several times of contacting Quality Plumbing and even asking us to contact them to no avail they went on with the claim and James said "Your Insurance Company dumped our claim." It was always "My secretary is working on it." There is junk they left in our yard and were to come back and remove.(AN OLD WHEELBARROW, PLASTIC, EMPTY CONCRETE SACKS AND CONCRETE CHUNKS.) Yes- they have been called numerous times and the rubble is still there! If interested in knowing, James the owner ask for money in advance and when he gets it the QUALITY goes down hill. BEWARE! QUALITY PLUMBING should change the name to NON-QUALITY PLUMBING!!! It SHOULD BE an embarrassment to American Home Shield to have contractors that give poor/terrible service as representatives. Atmos energy came out to test the line and with his testing equipment showed a gas leak the technician said the gas line was loose. I might add that when I was at seventh grade my family's house burnt to the ground because of the exact same thing a loose gas pipe to the stove. OK, there was some arguing on the phone, but it wasn't from me and when I got on the phone, I asked the office manager a few questions and she kept telling me about her policy.
