In my encounters with Mark Tomblin of Prism Enterprises, LLC, I was stunned by his egregious…read moredishonesty and lack of integrity. Not only did he fail to deliver the service I specifically requested--a moisture intrusion inspection--but he also misrepresented the company offerings, leading to a complete breakdown in trust and professionalism. I made it clear to Mr. Tomblin that I sought a thorough moisture intrusion inspection, specifically inquiring about the use of an electronic moisture meter with probes to test the moisture content of the building materials. To my dismay, Mr. Tomblin assured me that he would indeed use such equipment, without disclosing any alternative methods. However, he arrived without the promised equipment. Instead, he proceeded to take air samples with a completely different device. During this encounter, Mr. Tomblin told me that: 1. With such high humidity levels, "If you closed up the house and turned everything off to go away for three days, it [mold] would be growing." 2. Regarding the humusy smell in the house, which comes from Microbial VOC, "I could smell it when I came in." 3. In response to my telling him the landlord had put down plastic sheeting under the floor joists, he said the crawl space "should be encapsulated and dehumidified." 4. When I told him I had trouble emptying the buckets on the two small dehumidifiers I bought, he suggested the remedy of a dehumidifier with a pump to a drain line. 5. As he left he said, "I'm so worried about your health I'll try to get them [the lab] to speed it up." When I questioned him about using an electronic moisture meter, Mr. Tomblin dismissed my concerns, claiming he had gathered all necessary information from the 2 air samples alone. It became evident that he had lied to me about the services provided. I paid him with the $435 check he wanted. I was afraid to do otherwise, as the unsavory character stood in my home. However, despite Mr. Tomblin's initial concern, he later denied any abnormal levels of moisture in my home, contradicting his previous statements and dismissing my legitimate worries. A few days later, Mr. Tomblin sent me the results of a mold lab report, claiming that it showed "normal levels of mold." However, conspicuously absent from the report was any mention of the moisture content of the building materials or the overall moisture levels in my home. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction and requesting a refund, Mr. Tomblin callously rebuffed my concerns in a voice message, adamantly insisting that there were "no abnormal moisture levels" in my home and "therefore no grounds for a refund," despite his neglect to measure the moisture levels, and the weeks of humidistat data I had collected. When the Attorney General's office contacted Hamblin on my behalf, he admitted he didn't perform the moisture test but attempted to deflect blame by questioning my motives and defaming my character. My supposed lack of character and the supposed lack of a problem are irrelevant and diversionary. There is ONE issue: Mr. Tomblin did not do what I asked and he agreed to provide. This blatant disregard for honesty and transparency indicates a company rife with deceit and deception. It's clear that Prism Enterprises, LLC, cannot be trusted to uphold their end of the bargain and deliver the services they promise. For anyone considering doing business with them: insist on written documentation outlining the scope of services and associated costs, and pay by credit card whenever possible to protect yourself from potential deception. Remember, when dealing with Prism Enterprises, LLC, you may get lies, deceit, and a total lack of integrity. UPDATE: Mr. Tomblin's response below shows his lack of integrity. Again, he tried to defame my character by asserting my motives were unethical. I was not "trying to get out of the lease" but collect data to encourage the landlord to fix the moisture intrusion issue (he eventually installed a dehumidifier with pump and had most of the roof replaced, which no landlord would do without proof of moisture intrusion). As for " She even said that the owner should just level the home," is complete fabrication. Trust this company at your risk. Protect yourself! Get it all in writing, and PAY BY CREDIT CARD so you have recourse when he falls down on the job.

I told the employee that the door slid from right to left, however, she ordered it from left to right. Strike 1. Then I understood the style I picked out was out of stock. Strike 2. I had to make another trip to Lowe's and pick out another shade. I showed the employee the shade and selected the color and valance that came with the package. Shortly after, I received a phone call from the manufacturer telling me that this shade was unable to be made because the shade could not be cut in half. I instructed her that I had never ordered a split valance. Strike 3. Once again I made sure that the employee knew what I wanted and the order went through and the manufacturer called and said they were in stock and would be arriving between February 17th- through the 21st. They arrived a few days earlier and the installer came, which I had to pay an extra fee for this service. After these shades were hung, I told the installer that these were not the shades that I ordered. Strike 4. This time I called the manufacturer company and she did find the mistake. She did say it was the wrong type of shade that I had ordered. My order was bamboo with stripes coming down from the panels. These were just plain shades. They offered to take the present shades down and reorder the correct ones. I was so frustrated at this point that I did not want to work with Lowe's any longer. I was given a $50.00 gift card for all these mistakes. These blinds were not cheap, but they are not worth the price I paid. Another problem with this location of Lowe's is poor management of trying to get an employee from a department to answer the phone. After 11 years of living in this area, Lowe's has really gone down hill. Maybe they should look into getting a new manager. Employees no longer seem to be happy anymore. I think they are overworked due to a shortage of man power. This will be my last time I walk into that Lowe's store.
