Builders Market had these fasteners and a whole lot more!!! David, the owner is super knowledgeable about fasteners and tool companies. He always has a great story to tell, offers suggestions for tools and fasteners to help you meet your building needs. Besides, if it is hot, he'll even offer you an ice cream! It's not a stop that I make every day, but it is always an adventure and a great experience to visit builder's market. If you need construction supplies and safety equipment, swing on by and give them a try!

I didn't read a sign when he was standing there Said that the store changed cause someone tested positive and they are order only now. Sorry for opening my mouth with such a stupid question. I'm glad your employees love to make their customers feel stupid. Anyways the man couldn't even put a latex glove on. He wasted at least 5 mins trying to put it on. ( no wonder he wasn't a doctor). Anyways enough with the rude DB. The reason I came is because I needed a new occidental tool belt! I looked online to check what size I needed. I noticed the price online was 45 $ so I would have been ok paying a Little more for retail I get how it works mark up for store profit. After waiting for at least 15 minutes outside. It was my turn the calls me in. I look at the price tag 75$ plus tax wow! What a mark up? I told him on their website it's only 45. He told me to buy it there then very rudely. I will not go there ever again. And I recommend no one else does unless you want to buy overpriced things that will send your project over budget! Haha rather go to Home Depot those high school kids working there are probably more knowledgeable than this big DB.

Lousy quality, horrible customer service, very poor workmanship, threats to put a lien on my house…read moredespite the fact that I'd paid more than $40,000 for a remodeling job that included their tile work that's not even level. The crowning moment was when after having four, count um four, return visits from workmen to "repair" the crappy work of the initial installer, I was told that I could dispute one tile at a time. Baloney. I should have sued them at that time. But by then my bathroom had been out of service for months and I wanted the agony to be over. Not once during the whole episode did I hear a peep from the owner. Obviously that's a reflection of what he thinks of his customers. After spending three years on remodeling my whole house I learned a lot about contractors and who you can depend on and who should be fired in the middle of a job. JB fits the latter. Sure it would have cost more for someone else to start over but if you want quality workmanship sometimes that drastic step is necessary. The problem is you can't tell the workmanship will be so poor until they are finished. Actually, the moment I received the threat to put a lien on my house, just after they started work, that was the moment when I should have fired JB. The disrespect shown me was incredible. I was talked out of firing JB by my general contractor who told me these threats were a standard method of operation for subcontractors. As a neophyte in dealing with contractors I accepted his advice. That was my mistake. Only well later did I learn that the general contractor was doing business with an expired or revoked contractor's license. Another example of the character of the people in this business. That was someone who was recommended by a neighbor. Hiring that guy was another mistake that led to the JB problem. Birds of a feather. After the JB debacle we chose another contractor to do the tile work in our second bathroom and front hallway and we couldn't be happier. The tile work is beautiful. Perfectly square, straight and flat. As anyone in the Bay area knows, contractors are not cheap. I assumed that with high cost premier workmanship would be a given. In the case of JB I was sorely mistaken.

I have worked with John Brown, the owner and founder of the company since 2010 and have been very appreciative of the services John, his staff and his installers have provided for my projects. John has always been available to answer questions and issues that have come up during the projects despite his very busy schedule. I am an interior designer with very high standards and high expectation from my contractors. I have always chosen JB Tile & Stone and will continue to work with this great company. JB Tile & Stone has one the most professional administrators and a handful of highly skilled fabricators and installers I have known. The staff are always on top of customer's projects and consistent returning calls and emails. This past year, John Brown went beyond the call of duty to schedule his technicians overtime to help me complete my project's deadline. THAT WAS GOING BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THANK YOU John & Connie Brown, Johnathan, Gabriel, JB Tile & Stone fabricators & Installers. Looking forward to our next collaboration.

There were a few other lumber yards I could have chosen from, but none of them matched the quality of materials or the level of customer service I found here. What always stood out to me was how the business was run--there was pride in the work, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to customers. Over time, I watched other yards come and go, but OK Lumber remained. Even after the original owner retired, it's great to see the family carry on that same standard of excellence. The difference in quality is obvious. While other places might offer lower-grade materials, OK Lumber consistently provides top-tier wood. Yes, you might pay a little more, but you truly get what you pay for--quality, reliability, and service you can trust. What really makes the experience special, though, is the people. It's not just a transaction--they take the time to get to know you and your business. After a while, they're greeting you by your first name, and that kind of relationship is rare these days. If you're looking for more than just a place to buy materials--if you want quality products and a team that genuinely values your business--this is the place to go. I highly recommend. Joe
