We've been using Best Maids for the past 4 months and are truly pleased with their service and quality of work. When we initially signed up they did a "deep clean" the first time and it was excellent; literally every nook and cranny. Subsequent visits have been more routine cleaning services, coming every 3 weeks, but still excellent cleaning. We've had the pleasure of meeting the staff, Beata & Marta, and they do a fantastic job! We couldn't be more pleased with them and their service. They are always on time and are comfortable with our dog. The corporate team routinely performs quality check calls and overall the customer service has been great. We recommended their services to a friend and were offered a referral fee, which was a pleasant surprise. My mom is elderly and suffers from mobility and memory issues. She hasn't permitted me to visit her home in a few years and will only meet out or at my home. I finally told her I was coming in her house with or without her permission. What we found was heartbreaking. She hadn't cleaned in many years and it was a bad situation. I called Best Maids and they were the most responsive and professional on the phone as well as via electronic information. They were a little late (30 minutes). This is my only complaint. I explained that it was a severe deep clean. The 2 women who were sent to my moms worked extremely hard and I am so impressed at how clean they were able to restore furniture and windows that I thought couldn't be cleaned due to nicotine stains and neglect. Great first experience with Team Mango at Best Maids! I had been using Handy off and on for years due to convenience and affordability (but was left upset more often than not, and then they stole from me...) Anyways, I booked Best Maids after having seen the cars around my Hyde Park neighborhood. While they are a bit more expensive they are WORTH IT. We have been using BestMaids every other week for approximately 10 months. It started off great with one of two teams coming but then around the beginning of the new year we experienced many different teams. Sometimes the team would not bring correct supplies and did not seem to be aware of what to do. Each team did a decent job so we did not complain, although there were little things that would get missed. Then, approximately 2 months ago we noticed we were back to receiving the same team each time--Team Green - Luisa/Alma. They have been great. They consistently do an excellent job, know our house now and we are very satisfied. I highly recommend them! read more

Very very poor service and , at best, mediocre cleaning. For example, no cleaning under the beds, did not clean the bath tub at all, spills on dining room floor still there after they left. Total disregard for my schedule: while hired for Thursday morning, with very Little notice would change to afternoon or say they couldn't do it- not at all okay if you have a life with work and plans. 2015 A total waste of money. They were supposed to do a spring cleaning. I was very specific about what I wanted done and that they were to be careful not to ruin my stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Well, they did not even attempt to dust the dressers saying that falls under organizing and costs extra (by the way they did straighten the night stands in one bedroom, I wonder what the difference is). I replied that I did not ask you to organize just clean. they destroyed the finish on my $2000.00 stainless stove. They charged me for folding my laundry and did not fold one item. And let me not forget that they were supposed to be at my house between 2 and 3pm. At 3:20 I called to see where they were and was told they are in front of your house now. That was a lie because I was looking out of my window when I called. At that I was told "Oh, they passed your house and are on the way back. Another lie because my street is only 2 blocks long and no one drove by. When I tried to get the lady to clean the dressers I was told that they did not have time. Is it my fault that you arrived late? These people should not be in business at all and I wonder how they stay in business. Totally UNACCEPTABLE! UPDATE: They issued a full refund and paid to repair my stove. They asked for a second chance to come back and do the job right. I declined but after not finding another company I liked I gave them a second chance. It was a little better BUT they charged me full price and charged me to fold the laundry again without even folding one item. I called them and asked why they didn't fold and was told the staff could not find the laundry room. LIARS, when the crew walked in the door I took her downstairs and specifically took her to the laundry room and told her to fold. I went to work and my son took over and also took her to the laundry room when she asked where it was. She is a bold face liar like the first crew that came. They changed me $230.00 including the price of folding and had to come back a second time to do it because the lady lied and said she couldn't find the laundry room. Don't hire them unless you are prepared to clean up after them and be over charged. I am not difficult to please but I do expect to get what I pay for. The absolute worst! I asked. I emailed. I explained to supervisor. Many times. Each time.I couldn't understand why my house never "stayed clean." Because it wasn't. No baseboards, corners, moving small pieces, mirrors - just fluffing dust around while making sure Kleenex and tp were folded just so... Ridiculous. read more

I have used Best Maids bi-weekly for 15 years+ and I couldn't be more pleased. They know how to clean without my direction. They wipe surfaces (tops of doors, etc.) I would totally forget and I usually have to say nothing to insure the house is well-cleaned. Furthermore, the owner is very strict with the employees regarding honesty so I don't have to worry about items being pilfered. read more

Not pleased. Had them clean a new rental property for me and they just didn't do a great job. Streaks on the glass, foot prints showing on the hard wood floors and streaks on the stainless steal. The cabinets were not even wiped down properly. Waste of money in my opinion. read more

We love Francesca and Wtadzia! They always do a thorough job when they come to our place and even go above and beyond in putting nice touches on the places they clean (organizing and folding kitchen towels, etc). They're not rushed and make sure all surfaces (even shoe trays) are dusted, wiped down and cleaned. I've been using Best Maids for little over two years now and every time I am very satisfied with their service. They're always on time, and responsive to my requests. They usually send the same team, but there are times they send a different team. However quality of the cleaning is always the same, except for some personal touches of each team. Find another service to do your cleaning. Anything that you ask the staff, they will agree to, primarily because they don't understand what you are saying. They use your cleaning supplies, which is perfectly acceptable. However on each visit areas are missed that were supposed to be included in the cleaning. When this or other issues are brought to the owner's attention, she refuses to admit or compensate you for any wrongdoing. Save yourself aggravation, and choose a different company. read more

We used BestMaids some months ago for a period of a few months and we were unhappy with the service. We have clutter and the maids over time did less and less to help us actually stay clean- if there was something, anything, on a surface it wasn't touched or moved to clean underneath. Never vacuumed underneath the sofas or anything. So we canceled for a few months and then planned to try Molly Maids out. Molly Maids was a no show, so we called BestMaids back. Todays cleaning was a very thorough, excellent job. I think it just matters who the specific maids are, so I want to recommend Violet, Lupe, and Elvia- the place is shining!! They truly did an exceptional job. Every single surface has been cleaned, smells great, and is spotless. Even the surface of the sofas have been cleaned. As well as underneath. We had best maids come out to our house last week and do a deep clean before family came in to town for a visit. They did a WONDERFUL job! I used different cleaning services in the past but I was never completely satisfied. I was almost ready to give up when I stumbled upon Best Maids approximately 7 years ago and I have been using them ever since. I never had any issues with the cleaning. The cleaning ladies know exactly what I need and they get the job done. They have keys to my house so that they can clean the house while I'm at work. Upon my return the house always smell so clean and it makes my life easier. I'm not sure why other people had bad experience with them but I would totally recommend them. I used this cleaning service about a month ago and suffice it to say, I wish I had not.They left door hangers on all the door knobs in my high rise saying that they had clients in the building and if I booked my cleaning on the same day as their other clients, I would receive a discount. I called to make an appointment and was told over the phone that I would be charged one price, only to have that price inflated by $20 (I was told that was the price would be a bit more the first time because it was considered a "deep cleaning." How come after the "deep cleaning" I found dirt on my window sills, and crumbs on my kitchen floor and dust on my bedroom television. Not only that, they consistently showed up in my building unannounced assuming that I wanted them to come back the following week until my door man finally told them that I no longer needed their services.
