Do not hire this company! Our previous company went out of business and sold their client list to Eli Grillo and his company Best in Irrigation. After they came last fall to close down our sprinklers, in February we paid $195 for opening and closing in 2026. We made an appointment for service in April. They canceled that appointment so we made another which they also canceled with various excuses. When they didn't show up for our 3rd appointment, they stopped responding to calls and texts. We finally reached Eli Grillo and asked for a refund of the $195. He promised to drop off the money which he didn't do. We've now hired another company and I'm sure will never see our $195. I'm not sure what their issue is but strongly recommend to not hire them read more

DO NOT HIRE Eli Grillo at Best in Irrigation to work on your sprinkler system. He cashed my $195 check for turn on/turn off service, and scheduled a turn on date with me. He then rescheduled that date for later in the week, but had to cancel due to truck issues. He then rescheduled me for the following week, with a specific date and time, but never showed, and ghosted me on the several calls and texts I placed to him. He also never returned my $195 check which he said he would. Now, I'm out the $195 and I had to hire a different sprinkler person to turn on my system. Bad business! He may be overwhelmed with service calls but that does not excuse not communicating with someone who is waiting for him to show up, or taking money for no service provided! read more

I hired this company to perform irrigation system winterization on Oct 21. Ronnie turned off the master shut-off valve in my basement, despite the fact that the attached note states that you're supposed to leave it on all year around. When I asked Ronnie, he said he is 100% sure that he needs to turn it off. Immediately after he left, the master shut-off valve started leaking. I later learned that he should not have turned that off--in fact, the proper procedure is to close the outdoor shut-off valve instead. I called and left multiple messages over several days, but received no response other than "yes, I will come tonight" and then he never came nor called. The lack of communication is very disappointing, especially since the leak could cause water damage or system freeze damage if not addressed promptly. I would not recommend this company to anyone for obvious reasons. read more

very dissatisfied with this company who I hired after owner of company I was using retired. Best did my spring start up; there were no issues with that. I hired Ely of Best to install a drip irrigation system in April. It has never worked; hardly any water comes out. He came out twice and told me it was fixed; it is not. He has stopped responding to emails and texts. He schedules appointments and then doesn't keep them. Very poor communication and customer service with this company. Stay away. read more

Ronnie extended my irrigation system to my front yard, he seemed to do a good job, but at least one of the pipes wasn't buried to sufficient depth and when the lawn care company aerated the lawn, the pipe got damaged. So it seemed like no big deal, I sent him a polite email asking him to fix the pipe, and even mentioned that he just needed to patch it not bury it deeper, and he agreed, saying he was "planning to go this Friday Oct-6". But he never showed up, no email, text, phone call, nothing. And then he completely ghosted me -- subsequent emails and texts went ignored. I really don't understand it, I was always cordial and professional, I even mentioned he could do the winterization on the same day as the fix, so it wouldn't be a complete loss for him, but still nothing.
