A-Rite provided us with a new sliding shower door for our master bath remodel. The people we worked…read morewith were friendly and responsive. The price was good and the door came about when they said it would. Upon inspection of the new door, we asked that a modification be made to the door stop on the header as well as pointing out some minor scratches on the header. A-Rite agreed to completely replace the header and make the modification at no charge. Most other companies would not have been so accommodating. The only reason we did not give them a 5 star rating was because of one service team that came to correct this issue and install the new header. The original installation team was competent, quick and clean. The second service team not only could not remove a screw needed to make the repair, but said the screw could not be removed without drilling it out. After working at the repair for 2 hours, they said they could not fix the issue, reassembled the door and left. They said the problem was caused by an improper initial installation. We contacted A-Rite about this situation and scheduled another service call. This time the original team came back and made the repair in about 20 minutes. They even noticed a scratch on one of the handles and ordered a replacement. A-Rite stood behind their product and service. We are now very happy with the final outcome.

Sadly, work that was supposed to have been completed by November did not get finished until May... and was only done in that timeframe because I continually followed up and threatened legal action. I experienced deceitfulness of what was initially installed compared to what I paid for, even though I am the customer I was deeply exposed to numerous operational issues on their end (i.e. inability to procure the glass I purchased, scratches and etching on the glass, tempering issues, shoddy workmanship), they cracked the marble on my shower curb but did nothing to compensate me, and to make matters worse, I have video surveillance of one of the guys going through my personal belongings! Not satisfied with waiting 4 weeks to have my kids sleep in their room, I continued my search. One company told me that they would not do a job that was less than 4 windows and other companies referred me back to the company with a 4 week wait. Luckily, I found Southwest Glass & Mirror and was impressed by the service right of the bat. They quoted me almost 50% lower than the medical glass clowns and had it fixed in less than a week. It was perfect timing because it was the first day that we returned home after the storm and my kids were able to sleep in their room. It was a much needed win when I can't get anyone to take care of our other storm damage and stress was high. Mason and Claudia fixed the window quickly and did a fantastic job! They even took extra steps to ensure safety when they realized it was a kid's room. I will never hire another glass company in this area and have been telling everyone affected by the storm to give them a call.
