I enjoy the scheduling of taking my kids here just twice a week for about an hour and a half each session rather than 5 days a week in an after school camp doing nothing but watching TV or getting exhausted from learning! School is a place for the kids to have fun and learn. If your child is falling behind, it'll negatively impact their attitude towards school. Honestly, this place has had immense value in helping my child in math. She actually failed her…read moremath class in 2nd grade and we had to find a math tutor to help her not only understand math class concepts, but also to strengthen areas overall. The other goal was to get a better grade. She went from low C's and F's to B+. My child is now going into 5th grade and has consistently gotten B's and the occasional A+. Ms Preti runs this tutoring facility. She is a gracious and kind person. She tested my child (and other children who come to seek tutoring) to see where she was in math for second grade and to assess her strengths & weaknesses. Ms Preti, as well as the tutors she hired, helped my daughter immensely. They're pretty patient and will keep at it until your child understands! It's 2 days a week tutoring; minimum 40 minutes at a time. I've had it where my child was there for two hours. The tuition per month is DIRT CHEAP and of great value. When I say dirt cheap, I'm not trying to diminish what they do there. It has tremendous benefit for the small amount of tuition required each month. This tutoring is year round and it doesn't matter if your child is with Katy ISD, Fort Bend ISD, Lamar Consolidated ISD...or even home schooled. They will work with you! Expect homework and class corrections sheets to be sent home to do. You can also request extra homework to be sent home to. Ms Preti also gives tests and re-evaluates to see where your child is through out. Recommended for any child who needs help in math.
