My consultant was Sarah Shand and she was OUTSTANDING with myself and my bridesmaids! Not only did she ensure she was meeting the needs of what I was looking for in a dress for my bridesmaids, but she paid such great attention to many details of what I liked and did not like in a dress. I picked a dress for my girls that Sarah had suggested. This was a dress that I wouldn't have even considered. Once this dress was on my girls, I knew instantly that this is exactly what I was looking for on my bridesmaid for my wedding. I am so grateful that Sarah suggested this. She knew I was struggling with the looks of dresses, and this completely captured what I wanted for my wedding. This is about my 4th appointment with Sarah. Best for Bride in Hamilton is a great place to shop for a wedding dress, formal gown and any accessories that you may need. I knew exactly what I wanted in a wedding dress, right down to the smallest details so you might say that I am quite picky. While other stores had most of the details I wanted in a dress, the prices for those dresses were way too expensive. However when I went to Best for Bride in Hamilton I was immediately greeted with warm smiles and when I explained what I wanted Sarah found multiple dresses with exactly what I explained to her and the best part was they were all within my budget (which was not very high). She was so patient when assisting me with trying on the dresses and ended up showing me the perfect dress. I waited to buy it so that I could think on it, just to be sure. I later booked another appointment months later and Sarah wasn't working that day so Marcella assisted me. She too was amazing. Super friendly and so willing to help, the same kind of great service I received from Sarah the first time I visited and I ordered my dress. I cannot rave about Best for Bride (Hamilton) enough! I was there last Sunday to purchase my wedding dress. I was anxious as I had gone dress shopping the day before and had a horrible experience at a different local bridal shop which made me less than excited to go to another shop so soon. I already had the dress I wanted in mind as I looked it up on their website which I must say is very useful and user friendly. I had called just when they opened to inquire about the dress I was looking for and they were very quick to confirm the availability and details of the dress which leads me to believe they are very well organized! I was advised to drop in since I wanted to take a look to confirm that it indeed was the dress before purchasing as there were a few differences in the details listed. When I arrived they were busy as there were booked appointments but despite that they were very friendly and helpful to accommodate me. I felt bad that I should have booked an appointment since I had an idea it would take me a little longer than a quick walk in since I needed measurements taken as I am in between sizes I needed their expertise to decide which to order. A big shout out and thank you for the ladies who assisted me that day. Elina, Alex and Lashante were very welcoming and accommodating. Needless to say I said yes to my wedding dress that day and am very grateful to have such a pleasant bridal shop in the heart of our city. I bought my dress at Best for Bride last weekend! I first went to the Hamilton location several weeks ago. My consultant (Lashante) helped me find my eventual dress. At that first appointment, I hadn't shopped very much and didn't feel comfortable putting down a deposit on the dress. Lashante was AMAZING - no sales pressure, very understanding and supportive. Everything you could possibly want in a consultant. Afterwards, I visited several stores in Hamilton and about 4-5 stores in Toronto (where I live). It didn't take long to realise that THE DRESS was the one I found at Best for Bride in Hamilton. The dress itself was new and not yet available at any other store we called in Hamilton and Toronto. Several stores offered to order the dress in for me, which would've been more convenient since I live in Toronto. However, in the end, I had to give Lashante and Best for Bride Hamilton my business because they went above and beyond. I had great service at other stores, but Best for Bride was the best! BONUS: Best for Bride was the only store that colour-coded dresses based on various price ranges. Most other stores made it really challenging to find dresses that were in my price range. I really appreciated that they were set-up this way. Also, their selection was better than most (possibly all) of the stores I visited in Toronto. Prices were very reasonable. My daughter is getting married Aug 9,2014. We are from Guelph and decided to drive down to Hamilton to best for bride. My daughter loves the Mori Lee Line. We met Marcella. The service we got was amazing. We had her full attention, and she knew her stuff. She was a great help. She was well in tone with my daughters facial expressions and action on the dresses. Needless to say, we went down to Hamilton to just look and my daughter ended up falling for this dress. The service that we got from Marcella was unbelievable. We had a fantastic time at Best for Bride in Hamilton, ON. We were looking for and found bridesmaid dresses for a wedding this June. From the time we arrived for our appointment, the consultant was incredibly helpful, she listened to what we wanted, gave helpful suggestions and also gave us time to talk about the different choices/options and did not pressure us. We were trying to find a dress in a particular colour/shade and the consultant knew which ones could or could not be ordered in that colour, that was really helpful. Even though our appointment ran over time, they did not rush us out but made sure we were assured and happy in our decision. She took the extra time to have us try on different sizes so we could be sure we ordered the correct size and knew how it would fit. I would definately recommend making an appointment, as you will not get the same service if you walk in (they have to help the people who made appointments first, understandably). My daughter Kelly, her sister & myself (their mother) travelled to Ontario from Nfld. last Nov in search of a Prom dress for Kelly who would graduate from high school in May 2015. The moment we stepped into the Best for Bride Store in Hamilton we were treated like royalty. We didn't even have an appointment but we were served immediately and given all the time we needed to decide. Marcella was awesome! This was the absolute worst experience i have ever come in contact with, i walked in as i found a dress that i REALLY liked and found it in this store and seeing and touching it in person it was and felt extremely cheap and i got something WAY better and much happier at another shop all together, but as right on the door it says walk in welcome and was basically treated like crap from jump street , i walked in said id like to try on dresses and immediately was told i dont know if we have rooms let alone a consultant as i have other brides coming in that actually have an appointment i said well while you figure that out im going to look at dresses in the mean time , someone had pulled out the dress i was looking at i went over and realized how cheap it felt and looked , i took one look at my mom and my maid of honor and said lets get out shoes on and go , we just entirely walked out and wasnt asked for even a second of if they can even help etc , CLEARLY they have no idea how to treat customers who are more then welcome to spend money in their shop, i will NEVER recommend anyone to come into this shop read more

I went to a couple different places and quickly learned that the experience of buying your wedding dress is much more than trying on dresses. I had a wonderful consultant who helped me find a dress I feel extremely happy and comfortable in and made sure it was within my budget. They have a walkway with cameras to ensure you look your best from all angles. I did not feel rushed and felt that I had her undivided attention throughout the whole process. My dress did have delays coming in, however she made me feel at ease knowing that the dress would be in and altered in plenty of time, which it was. The alteration department did a quick but fabulous job getting my dress done and went above and beyond my expectations to ensure I had exactly what I needed. All the staff was extremely nice and very personable I was very fortunate to have a great consultant. My consultant Elina, made my experience at Best for Brides a great one. I went to 4 or 5 stores in the hamilton area looking my dress and Best For Bride had the best customer service hands down, and not to mention a huge selection to pick from. It makes such a huge difference when you have an attentive, patient consultant with you and that's exactly what Hilay (sp?) Illustrated. As previously mentioned, they have a runway with cameras set up so that you can see what you look like from the back, and what your dress look like in dimmer lighting (they dim the lights to show the sparkle on your dress if applicable). I ordered a dress from here and the process was smooth and simple. There was a delay in manufacturing of my dress so it came a month later than anticipated but that's not the fault of the store. They kept me up date which is all they can really do. Of all my various experiences working with different wedding related vendors and stores, the team at best for bride has been one of my better ones, if not the best. What an amazing experience! Wedding dress shopping is difficult. So many dresses so many choices. With the help of my amazing consultant Leshante i was able to try on all different types of dresses. I'm having a Christmas themed wedding in December, and have been debating whether to go with a Christmas dress or a wedding dress for a long time. Marcella totally understood, and was so incredibly helpful, immediately helping narrow down style, cost (probably my favourite system - ribbons tied to the hangers so you know what to look at within price range, no accidentally pulling a super expensive dress), helpful ideas on what fit looked most flattering, and even what brands to look for! I am getting married September 10 th 2016 and for my first bridal dress shopping I wanted the "grand" kleinfelds expierence , only to be the most disappointed , kleinfelds in Toronto sucks the dress are super expensive and are super small . After that appointment I had serious body issues with myself and didn't want to try on any more dresses . Then my father in law told me about best for bride and after some thought I went there . The store is amazing !!! A million times better the kleinfelds could even hope to be. All Three ladies had helped me out huge as I was suppose to buy a dress from Angies in Waterdown but they had sold my dress over the weekend and had only told me an hour before my appointment.
