The bathrooms had no toilet paper, seat covers, and barely any soap. The employee at the register was kinda curt. They did have a nice selection of iPhone cases, however only had one type of car charging port which was not helpful. read more

Update Review on 5/25/2017: Normally, when I leave a Best Buy store, I leave with a giant smile. Their staff is friendly, have memorized my name because of how often I shop here, and are always knowledgeable about the items I have an interest in. Today, I had a different experience. I walked into the store at 700 Jackson around 5:00 PM and I saw a rack with Bluetooth speakers from the Best Buy brand, Insignia. They were marked down to 9.99, down from 40.00. This was not a shock to me, as I normally buy these very same speakers for the same price around the months of March (spring deals) and November (Black Friday deals). I figured this was part of a back-to-school sale, fitting, since I am a teacher and I use these as incentives for students. The register didn't show 9.99, it displayed 19.99. The clerk called Anna, a manager, and when she came over, she said that they would honor the price for two but not all 5 I wanted to buy. I asked her, "How could you be 'honoring' the price when it is the price advertised?" She said, "It's an error on our part but I can't let you have all five." I showed her a picture (I've uploaded the picture to Yelp) showing the rack in which not 1, but all SKUs (the SKU changes based on the color of the speaker) were marked down for 9.99. That's a large margin for an error. She still insisted on two speakers. I asked if she could honor 2 speakers from one SKU and 1 speaker from another. She still declined. I still rate the store 2 stars because she wasn't being rude nor was I. At the end of the transaction, I thanked her for her time and shook her hand. However, I left disappointed that I won't have enough speakers to give out as incentives for my students and neither will my wife, who teaches at a different district. __________________________________________________________ Best Buy is a great place to shop for tech. Many of the things I need are found around the store easily or with the help of a rep. Game-wise, they have a wide variety of games available to you including the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC as well as other handheld devices. For a streamer like me, I've been able to buy all the gadgets I need to succeed, from the ElGato stream device to self-powered USB 3.0 extenders. When I wanted to purchase my Oculus Rift, there was an Oculus Rift representative available to let me test it out before my purchase. Today, I went to pick up an online order. It was a movie quadrilogy called The Mummy. I placed the order online and was able to get it 10 dollars off with a pre-order. I have to give a big shoutout to Val, the rep that usually is there when I pick up my orders. She takes not that I shop constantly and remembers my name. She always greets me with a smile and treats me like a human rather than a customer. I don't know what position she holds within the Best Buy store but she should train other reps in the store to model the way she does customer service. Great job Val! read more

Great store, for me because I know my electronics, so I really don't run into any problems when shopping. The good is that if you know your technology shopping here isn't a problem, and the Warranty plans are great especially if you're buying gaming hardware such as a "Mouse, Keyboard, Headphones, always buy the 2 year warranty because if it breaks within 2 years they will replace it for free or price exchange, and specifically headphones or devices with built in batteries always wear down within 1-2 years it starts losing charge so its easy no hastle exchange / repairs. Though the only negative thing i've experienced so far is sales reps will often try to sell you stuff like "TN Panels" I suppose it's not really negative because they returned mine, though the problem being that "TN" Computer Monitors look really washed out and ugly when it comes to color and they try to sell these to gamers to get rid of them. This happened even when I asked for Good Color monitors such as IPS Panels. read more

The staff was super helpful and very knowledgeable of the product when explaining to me all the details and features that the product had to offer. I ended up purchasing two large smart TVs and some other gadgets for them. No one EVER answers the phone. It's horrible. Can they at least answer and assure their customers that they will be helped?!?!?!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Even their district manager, Antonio is rude. My husband purchased a brand new Blu Ray, shrink wrapped & all. Once, we got home, he opened it and the disc wasn't inside!!!!!! He called the store at first but someone laughing, (obviously they were too deep in their conversation) picked up the phone and hung it up! So my husband went to the store and the employees gave him a hard time; having him to look for a replacement himself, even telling him that they couldn't refund it, for him to go to another Best Buy to look for the replacement because they couldn't find it in their stock. The whole ordeal took over an hour. They FINALLY refunded my husband but only because it was almost 9pm and they had to close. The way management handled everything was horrid.
