Ran into Best Buy today to grab a game I wanted that they had on sale. I was very impressed by their upgrades to the displays around. I haven't been into a Best Buy in years but I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and neat the store was. They had new displays for different cameras and things like that which looked really nice. Also, the man that helped us check out was so friendly and chatted with my husband and I about the game we were purchasing. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to this being our go to Best Buy when we move to the area! read more

Unit was $300 more today and was advised by clerk that the two week sale price not available today. So going now to buy it from another online place at the reduced price. Did an Online order last week and was really excited to go pick my order up same day. When I got to this BestBuy, They only had half my order ready, so I picked up half my order and then the cash register person told me to just walk around 5-10 mins to pick up my other half my order and which I did. I come back 10 mins later and they said its still not ready. Starting to get a little irritated but all good, they are busy and said they were gonna prioritize my Online order. 1 week later, everything is ready to be picked up. I purchased an item online today and was promised a pickup time today. I've waited 10 hours for them to send me the email that it is ready, but no email arrived by close of store hours. I called them three times and they assured me that it would be ready before days end. Normal prepare for pickup is 1 hour. While purchasing a TV the very unhelpful employee told me I couldn't get it in store and needed to purchase online. He pushed me to get gift cards for the amount of the TV. When trying to purchase the TV myself with gift cards it said it wasn't available. I was misguided. Then when trying to purchase a different TV the gift card with $500 on it said it had a 0 dollar balance! Best Buy employees scamming now or what? I've called Best Buy twice and still haven't a solution to this major issue and theft. I don't know what to do now. Am I just out 500? I have the gift card and receipt. read more

I've always had great experiences at the MG Best Buy, but 30 minutes on hold without ever talking to anyone after navigating through many levels of their automated system just to get put on hold is poor customer service. There is no main number to the installation department either so there isn't a number I can call instead of the main one when all I want to do is enquire about a remote start system. Will have to just stop in there if I actually want to talk to someone. Not impressed at the moment. Hopefully they get back to being the great store I have known them to be. read more

My sister and I came here on a whim after trying to decide whether to take the plunge and buy a television. A few minutes after we walked in, someone asked if they could help us and connected us with a TV specialist. Let me just say that the Best Buy rep was one of the best I've had at any store. We let him know our desired budget and he asked us how we like to watch television. Didn't realize it but this question was crucial in steering us one way or another. Since we largely watch shows and movies online at the moment, he thought a Smart TV would be a great option for us - and it was! We can watch Netflix, Amazon, HBO Go, and more on the TV he directed us to. BONUS: since we both have Samsung phones, the Samsung TV allowed us to have even more device compatibility and opened our viewing options tenfold! I never felt that he was trying to upsell us (one of my biggest pet peeves!) and he kept the mood light and fun. He even let us in on a little secret app that lets us stream thousands of tv shows and movies - alone worth my mid-Saturday adventure! I'm usually one to shop online for the best deal but really, you can't beat the in-store attention, conversation and advice that you get when you walk into a store. The next time I need some new tech or appliances, I'm heading back to Best Buy! read more

Had the worst experience ever with Best Buy. Promised me a Saturday Delivery. "Truck Broke Down" No delivery. Called to cancel order but was told by Best Buy Employee that if I kept my order they would compensate me for my troubles with a 10% gift card and to call after delivery complete. Called customer service and was offered a 25 dollar gift card. My purchase was 3500. Countless phone calls with a promise of a return call. Never got a return call. I've been going to this location for years and it appears that it continues to go down hill , I've bought a lot out of this store and genuinely like Best Buy ,but this location needs upper management attention, the outs at this store is down right ridiculous whole end caps empty, counters empty just empty pegs. no prices on counters or floor displays. Is no wonder why Best Buy sales are down ,no one seems to care .This place at one time it was a happy place with smiles and everyone greeting you. I was not greeted once Today, walked entire store no one said hello, can I help you, had to wait a while for front cashier there was no one at any of the registers.Upper management must get this placed cleaned up and back in stock of merchandise very disappointing in my experience thank goodness for Amazon I prefer Best Buy but fading fast. You can pay to be a primo customer, but unlike Amazon, you still get crappy service. Sent my husband up to get a small Roku TV and they gave him the Android version - sent him up with list, picture, model nbr, etc. and the rep was either stupid, lazy or just cheating customers, again. They ALWAYS do this. Yet they want you to buy online and pay for it so when you come to pick it up they can tell you that they had to substitute it. Thinking whoever owns/runs Best Buy runs MN Xcel energy and cable companies, ISP service providers too. Welcome 2021, continue to screw the little people. Best Buy - thanks for being consistent. I use Amazon, Walmart, ANYTHING I can to avoid shopping with you, because you consistently suck and just don't care. And it isn't your staff - it's your training and instructions. I'll spare you the boring details of my experiences with this Best Buy, and just say that their customer service is nonexistent. Which is sad, considering the state of brick-and-mortar electronic stores these days. One would think customer service would be a top priority, being that it is the ONE thing they can offer customers over their online competition. Sadly, these stores seem to be shells of their former selves. Customer service has been pushed to the wayside to make room for corporate policies and fear of the inevitable - closure. If you must go to a Best Buy store, do yourself a favor and chose a different location. Not only will you save yourself time, but also the hassle and headache of dealing with the employees of this store. I've had great experiences at this Best Buy, as long as it wasn't crazy busy. Be prepared to wait for help though if you're there during a rush. Most of the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Unfortunately there are a few that will BS their way through the sale instead of admitting they don't know what they're talking about. That disappoints me since it's not like they are getting a commission on the sale anyways. More often than not though, the service has been excellent and I will continue to shop here. The pricing can be hit or miss, but they have a new price matching policy so if you do your homework you can still get some really great deals. read more

I like this particular store. It is well organized. When I come here on my lunch breaks, they are very helpful and always ask if I need help. When it gets busier it is much harder to find someone to help you. I have had one bad experience with Best Buy that still bugs me. I pre-ordered Dragon Age 2 premier edition and their corporate ordering screwed up and a very select few people actually got them. Best Buy didn't do anything to compensate me, I actually went to the game manufacturer to get my in game items. To this day I will not pre-order games from Best Buy. Having said that, I do think the in store staff helped me as much as they could in that particular situation. While I have seen an ever declining Zune section in the MP3 players/accessories, they do have some select brands. I've noticed this with other items as well. Best Buy tends to carry the popular items more probably to increase profits. I can't say I blame them, but it can be an inconvenience to the customer. read more

Paid for a warranty for a product at this location but the item came up under someone else name. Went to exchange one item but they would not exchange the second one. Something not right hear. I paid for your service but got treated like my money didn't count. Now they ask me to take it up with corporate. I did go to corporate to purchase my item. My money was taken hear at this location. Warning: Seems the Wells-Fargo effect is catching on: A dishonest Geek Squad member charged me for something I told him very clearly I did not need, those were: 1) 1-Year Tech Support ($180) and 2) Internet security ($20) a whopping $200 overprice. Paid, got distracted and left with my kid and his PC. Realized the following day in an email that those items would renew on a specific date. That's how I caught it (renewal of what?). I called back and TC offered to remove them and he did. I received a -$215 (inc. Tax = $15) refund. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is bc I do my shopping and I find most of what I need and bc TC fix it promptly and not all members are as sleazy as the guy who tried to rip me off. read more

We bought a combo wall oven 8/18, had the receipt, install and delivery date and $100 gift card for the purchase. I took off work and they didn't show, my husband called and only was told corporate canceled our purchase! No one could tell us why and there wasn't any notes anywhere. We were told that if we wanted to repurchase the oven we would have to go back into the store. The kicker was my husbands credit card was charged a few days later $100 for that gift card! Fast forward to 12/18 the oven was on sale but not the deal we originally received and we decided to try again, big mistake! 3 more install dates and days taken off work and the oven is still not installed. They haven't shown up, they haven't called to let us know what is going on and my husband calls them daily. They had a crew come and pick up our old oven on Jan 11 but the other crew had not come to install our new one so we haven't had a working oven for 3 weeks! My husband has told the story multiple times and is told a manager will call us back or they will get back to us and the following day my husband is calling again repeating himself. They assigned a case worker to us but obviously that is not helping, to this date we don't have a working oven. We have told them to pick up the new oven and return our old one multiple times but they have not done this! I have reported to the Better Business Bureau regarding this and I do not want this trouble for anyone else. The money we have lost in wages, eating out etc is ridiculous. Never again Best Buy, I will never give you the benefit of the doubt again! read more

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Made appointment for a radio installation for 2:30. Took my car into Best Buy, the technician told me "I'm a bit behind". When I called at 5:00 to check on the installation he said " I had issues with another install and it will be an hour and a half or more". The best buy policy is 2 hours. I spoke with the manager, she was apologetic but did nothing to make things right. This is a complete dog and pony show. It is no wonder that worst buy is a company on a downward spiral. They have lost a customer and I will never recommend their installation services to anyone. My 10 year old son could do a better job. Fire you installer. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Alisha from customer service did not go threw the process to search for my product repair plan and she was persistent she could not help me. I called the Roseville location and they had all my info on file that Alisha could have accessed but chose not to. I was a sales associate at Best buy in the past I know I how the system works and she was either too incompetent to do her job correctly or she was not properly trained in her field maybe she should clean bathrooms or work in the stock room because obviously her customer service skills are second to none. read more
