Geek Squad acts like they know what they are talking about, but they don't. They promise to backup your files on your computer when they fix it, promising that the backup will save your data, but no. I took my son's iphone11 in because it wouldn't connect to cellular or Wi-Fi. I waited over 2 hours, and when they gave me back my phone, it was in "restore " and we were unable to get it out of restore. Now I have to wait until Sunday to take it to the Apple Store. Customer service, bought computer at Best Buy ,1 year ago, bought up grades this year for the computer $280 . Had issues installing up grades. Called Geek Squad, they set up appointment and quoted me $100 to install up grades. Go to appointment, now it's $200 to look at it, could be more will not be ready for a week. Very poor customer service. All they could tell is how they could not help me. Bought a Sony blu-ray player. Stopped working. Took it back for exchange/refund. Best Buy refused as I did not buy their overpriced warranty. Now they were happy to accept it if I wanted to shell out 60 bucks for a membership. Player wascless than 3 weeks old. So sad we cant help you. Never stepping in a Best Buy again. Avoid Best Buy in general and the Findlay stire in particular. read more

I purchased an I-Phone at Best Buy in Avon, OH about two years ago. I just moved to Findlay recently and took my phone in for service because I could barely hear incoming and outgoing calls and was forced to put all calls on speaker in order to hear the other party. After a 20 minute "analysis" they told me it would cost $200 to repair the phone. But, they could put the $200.00 toward a new I-Phone which would have put me back another $600.00. Not satisfied with their "analysis" I went to "You Break It, We Fix It" next door and the gentleman there just cleaned the receiver screen with a fine brush and cleaner at NO CHARGE and the volume is great again. I was actually going to purchase a washer and dryer at Best Buy here in Findlay, but after feeling betrayed by their staff, I will shop else where. Best Buy obviously does not provide any quality customer service training to their employees and I'm not sure that I will ever trust them again. read more

Never sign up for a Best Buy credit card. Did I say NEVER. My experience has been horrendous with Best Buy. My credit went from 830 to 700. Wonderful experience. But we learn. There is a reason why the have a 2 star review. Never again. They will be out of business soon and only have themselves to blame. read more

I have an Apple Watch, I have Apple Care for the watch. The watch wasn't operating properly. The Apple person recommended that I take my watch to be serviced at Findlay, Best Buy store. On Feb 4, 2020 I was given a paper that said I should expect my watch back by 7th. Today is 2/12/20 and I have contacted Best Buy a few times a day and no one ever answers phone. Im currently 35 minutes on the phone with Best Buy's 800# customer service and they cant even get threw to the Findlay Store. I just want my watch back. Don ever leave product at the Findlay Best Buy store, to be sent out. Geek Squad isn't showing to be reliable. :-( read more

Like most of the mall they are in, this store is a joke. It's an old Kmart which says a lot right there. I was stuck in Findlay one night and forgot the charging cable to my apple watch and since they don't have an apple store I decided to go to Best Buy to buy one . It's the smallest Best Buy store I have ever been in and the service is awful. I went to look for the charging cable and this store doesn't even carry them. The website said they had them in stock at that store and after spending 10 minutes finding a saleperson to help me locate them I was told they didn't even carry them. Fortunately I was only stuck in Findlay for one night and that weekend had no issues buying a backup one at the Toledo Stores. While I was at the store I decided to look at Dishwashers as well since I was in the market for one just to see what they had in stock and was going to order it from the Toledo store if they had one I liked. Turns out this store doesn't carry appliances. Outside of the Best Buy in NYC Midtown this is the only Best Buy I have been in with no appliance section and their distribution center is in Findlay. I also needed a pair of new earbuds for my IPad and decided to buy them while I was there. Like another poster said this store doesn't price match. I pulled them up on Amazon and in the past best buy will always price match Amazon as long as it is being sold by Amazon and not a third party. I was told they no longer price match amazon. Amazon was $5 cheaper so I was going to just order it online and when I went to the Toledo best buy a couple days later decided to see if they would price match and I had no issues with a price match there. I was telling someone in my office about the experience and she said she had to make a trip there when she was stuck in Findlay a couple weeks before me and wanted to use Apple Pay and they were clueless at that store on how Apple Pay works. You'd think the Findlay store would be a nice store seeing their distribution center is there. I'd recommend just driving the hour to Toledo if you need to go to a best buy store or using online ordering if you can wait a couple days on the item. read more

I have been a big fan of Best Buy for MANY YEARS! i have purchased most of my electronics, computers, etc. from Best Buy. IF I have a problem? I go in and ask politely for help and I GET IT! I have seen people behave angrily and all they do is make the Best Buy employee's uncomfortable! By being polite and understanding that problems may happen, then your experience is GREAT! If you can't find what your looking for at the store, you can go online and buy the item and SAVE on shipping by picking it up at the store! When I can find someone on the floor to help me, things are great. I often try to not go to ask questions/check things out on the weekends when it will be busy, but even during the week, it's hard to find an employee. Though, when I do, those I have dealt with haven't been pushy, and they know their stuff. They even price matched an ipod touch to their online price, when other stores wouldn't do so. read more

Very disappointed with the service at best buy. Spent $1000 dollars on a camera it broke I returned it to be fixed, it took over a month and when I got it back the same part broke. I think they should of replaced my camera but the wouldn't. I guess their policy is it has to break 4 times lol what a bad policy. read more

Waited in line in the cold for a ticket for a NES Classic. Manager came out said he had only 24 tickets to come back tomorrow and do it all over again. To be FAIRRRRR. They lost out on a sale. Bottom line. Went to buy an iPad, Walmart was out of stock, and Best Buy said they would not price match because I "could not buy it at Walmart"?? What?? This was the manager. I showed him the advertised sale price online (per BB policy they will match) and he did not even want to see the local shelf price (same as online) he just walked away. Thank god we checked the other Wal Mart before leaving town, was in and out in 5 minutes (literally) with the new iPad at the same price. *disclaimer: this had NOTHING to do with Black Friday deals. read more
