The one thing they were obsessed about was the tailgate of the truck we had needing to be painted, but didn't seem to mind that they were selling a truck that had a rusty tailgate. When my husband and I took our "new" to us truck out of town, it was HORRIBLE!! The back window did nothing but rattle and the rest of the windows except the drivers window all frosted over with thick frost. It's not easy or safe driving that way. If someone is going to nit pick everything about a vehicle they are taking for a trade, then they need to make sure that the truck they are selling is perfect!

There was an out the door price without a price breakdown nor other official documents included (odometer disclosure, title transfer, and so on). After confirming the VIN for the preapproval loan with the bank and getting a check made payable to the dealership, he did not communicate with me. In fact, he did not answer my phone calls nor did he reply to my text messages. Levi lacked transparency and etiquette. As a sales person for a real dealership with a brand to lose, I've never seen anything like this before. If I was the reason someone told my boss that they did not complete a $50,000 transaction I would have to find somewhere else to work, tomorrow. Buyers beware, be very careful, be very cautious- do not give this company money before you receive any merchandise and or paperwork for said merchandise. PS, I just had to add this, because I have not heard from this dealership since Tuesday of last week I find it highly ironic that they wanna reach back out to me today because I transparently put them on blast and let all of their potential clients know what type of business they do here. Well 7 months and I continue to have the same issue with my car cutting out and my check engine…read morelight continuously on. Now the last couple of weeks they don't even have the nerve to call me back. I have messaged the General manager Wayne and also left voice mails to call me and I get no response. I have sent pictures with my check engine light on and also a code that was ran that states that it is the catalytic converter which also was the same code that showed up with my last visit to them that they told me was my air intake was froze up. Now tell me what the cold weather had to do with this when then all started back in June. They supposedly replaced my catalytic converter which I have to say BS or they installed a faulty one and they refuse to make it right. And the sad thing is that a couple of the employees there had lunch with a guy who happens to be related to me and they told him that it was indeed the catalytic converter but they refuse to even talk to me. I have had this car brand new from them. They have very poor customer service as the last time that I was in they didn't even say hi to me or talk to me until I started to ask questions. I would think that they would make this right with my car but instead they just ignore me now. I am a single mother with 4 kids and they don't care if I get stranded which luckily so far the times that I have I have been by myself. I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED AT THIS POINT!!

The service department has lied to me multiple times about my vehicles needing service that they…read moreactually did not need. I replaced multiple parts that they said needed to be replaced only to find out the parts were still in good condition and did not need replacing anytime soon. I have receipts saying that the following parts needed to be replaced and I also have the old parts(still in good condition) as well. They had told my girlfriend that the upper ball joints and control arms needed to be replaced, which they didn't(bushings and ball joints still had thousands of miles left on them). They also told my girlfriend that they would replace the passenger side steering rack clamp if she spent the $1700 to replace all ball joints and bushings, and when I took it off I noticed the steering rack clamp was still in brand new condition also. When I questioned them about it they just told me I was wrong. Then they proceeded to tell me that I needed to replace the rear wiper blade(which I had replaced two days prior), the spark plugs (which I had replaced recently), the spark plug wires(which I had also replaced recently). They also advised me that all fluids needed to be changed(which I had done a few days prior), and that the air filter needed to be replaced(still looks brand new and indicator shows it has over 80% life left). Please do not trust the service department or get a second opinion from a trusted mechanic if you are to get service done on your vehicle at Lake Chevrolet. I will never bring my vehicles to that service department again

Paid $400 to get it towed to Wilhelm's and then I'm told it is $600 repair for a shifting collar. Fast forward 3 weeks and I'm told that isn't what is wrong (mind you they charge $100 just to diagnose the problem!). I find out a few days later it's the valve body that needs to be replaced. A $2500 service between parts and labor. At this point I've been without a reliable vehicle for a month as a single mom to a 5 month old baby. I asked Rod Wanamaker to let me know when the part comes in and when it will be getting into the shop. Three weeks go by and not a word. It's couple weeks before Christmas, and I reach out again asking for an update and Rod tells me that it should be done on 12/29 and informs me they will take $400 off of the service. It's enough to cover the tow that I had done 6 weeks prior. I don't hear anything on 12/29 so I send Rod a message with no response. I call 12/30 to find out the vehicle still hasn't been started, and he couldn't give me a date to when it will be. Finally I call and talk to the sales manager, Rod Wilhelm. Rod gets me a loaner vehicle after having no dependable car for the entire months of November and December. Rod also stated that they will take more than $400 off with the issues I went through from the service department and the length of time. It's now January 15th (75 days since my original appointment for this issue) and my vehicle is finally finished. I request the receipt of labor and parts be emailed to me 3 different times between Rod Wanamaker and Mike Martell and never received it and was completely ignored. I spoke with Rod Wilhelm, and he informed me that $400 is all that they will take off of the service. I have never had worse experience with any other dealership. If you want to buy a vehicle from a dealership that backs their sales, go to Stoudt's!
