Choosing Dr. Inessa and BHP was truly one of the best decisions we've made as parents. We have a two year old and a newborn, and Dr. Inessa has been there for us every step of the way. She is smart, straight-forward, and thoughtful-- I have tons of questions (often semi-ridiculous-I've-gone-too-far-down-an-internet-rabbit-hole-type-of-questions) and she provides so much insight and confidence in her responses. It's also worth noting that she's never been anything but kind and patient with my concerns, and she has a unique ability to give it to me straight without making me feel silly for having asked. Our office visits are efficient but never rushed, and I always feel like she's very thorough and really knows and likes my kids. Not only is Dr. Inessa an incredible doctor, but I really like her personality and demeanor. She's funny and easy to be around, and always has funny anecdotes about her own kids and experiences as a mom that are super relatable. It truly takes a village to raise a child and I'm so grateful Dr. Inessa is part of ours.

The appointment felt extremely rushed, leaving little room for questions or discussion. When questions were asked, the responses were delivered in a tasteless and dismissive manner, which made the experience uncomfortable as a parent. Dr. Monk came across as very condescending and lacked the warm, reassuring demeanor one would expect from a pediatric doctor. There was little empathy or effort to build rapport, and the overall interaction felt transactional rather than patient-centered. As a parent, it is important to feel heard and supported, especially when it comes to your child's care, and unfortunately, that was not the case during this visit. Due to this experience, I would not recommend her as a pediatric doctor to anyone's children.

We've never waited more than a couple minutes to be taken back to an exam room to take baby's measurements with a nurse, and typically only a few more minutes to see the doctor himself. Dr. Sachs himself is also highly available. We found out following our first appointment that my baby had mild jaundice and Dr. Sachs had us come back for a follow up the very next day to be cautious and do an extra blood test to make sure it was improving- I appreciated this! Test results have always been quicker than he tells us they would be. And once when I messaged him a question on the patient portal he responded within a couple hours! I picked Dr. Sachs and this pediatric practice after researching and reading reviews of several practices in the area.
