A five-star review is not even enough to express how wonderful Bespoke Equestrian Ireland is! Donal and his whole team have created the most fun and safe riding experience you could ever hope for. The horses are well-cared for, happy, responsive, and dang bombproof. Each day, we were treated to a fabulous experience across various locations, including beaches, trails, forests, fields, and stunning coastal locations. I was incredibly lucky to get to ride Wally for an advanced, 5-day excursion as part of a friend's birthday celebration trip. Wally (and all of the horses!) were well trained and perfectly matched to their rider's ability. Whether galloping on the beach, riding through coastal towns, climbing hills, or quietly strolling along a forest trail, it was the most perfect experience. Our guides all week long (shout out to Debbie, Katie, Mel, Ellie, Sarah, and Donal!) were knowledgeable, entertaining, and organized. I truly came away from the week feeling like a more confident rider. Lastly, logistics were a breeze. From our B&B in Ballycastle, to transportation, to dinner reservations, we always felt cared for. I truly cannot recommend BEI highly enough and am already dreaming of the day I get to come back! read more

What a thoroughly inspiring experience. BEI is exceptional in every way from their horses and staff to their focus on community and safety everything is curated to ensure you have an experience to remember. First the horses are well trained and willing to work with their rider whether galloping on the beach, cantering through the woods, trotting on the roads or jumping small logs, I felt incredibly safe and trusted my horse to not only listen to me but also to make wise choices. This is in part due to both the training and the matching of horse and rider. The horses are all well fed, rested, groomed and you could feel the work and confidence that the trainer (Ben) has put into these horses. I also noted how conscientious the team is when out in the community. The guides ensure the horses are only on the beach when allowed and if the beach is busy they give people, other horses, dogs and children a wide berth to keep everyone safe. They also ensure gates are closed and messes are cleaned up. This is a bit of work but they are true good neighbors. This all stems from their caring nature and that this is truly a family business that has outstanding staff. Debbie, Mel, Katie and Donal were all highlights of my trip. Each day was unique and all the staff helped us to enjoy the differing landscapes and sights. On our rain day Mel led us and her laughter and good spirits kept the whole team laughing and galloping in rain! Donal led both the opening and closing rides on our 5-day trip. On our first day he provided us with an overview/history and led our jumping and assessment and on our last day we were lucky to have him lead our group. He told stories of the area, the horses, his family and led us on an amazing trek that even included a few small jumps. This was my daughter's favorite day. You could feel the care he has for all his guests, staff and horses and all the effort that he puts into ensuring your experience surpasses your expectations. Finally, I even feel like I came away from this 5-day trip a better and more confident rider. read more
