I chuckled at how ridiculous it sounded, to which he confronted me, walking up behind me, pointing at me in the mirror, and saying if I had something to say, I should say it to his face. When I said I was just there for a haircut, he responded that I "better be," or he'd punch me or worse. From that moment on, he hovered around me, circling and staring while I was stuck in the chair. It was intimidating, and I felt on edge the rest of the time. The staff seemed uncomfortable, but also oddly used to it, which is even more concerning. No one should feel threatened while getting a haircut. Unless this employee is removed, I won't be returning. The issue isn't just one person--it's a shop that allows this behavior. If you plan to bring a child for a haircut, be cautious of the topic they might see or hear if this barber is around.
