Came to this place and got a haircut from Carlos. It was not bad, but I was not a fan of the way he styled the hair at the end. Gave this place another shot and got booked by the owner with Tommy. Tommy claimed to have 20 years of experience and proceeded to give me one of the worst haircuts in my life. Any barber in downtown or Brickell would run circles around him. Their main clientele is 10-12 year old kids, which makes sense as any reasonable adult would stay away. I wouldn't not recommend this place for anyone above 12. read more

Went in for a quick haircut and left looking like a fool. Barber didn't take his time to cut my hair, rushed me to get to his next appointment or watch the movie playing inside the shop. Worst of all - didn't take my suggestions on what I wanted very tactfully. Instead got defensive. Won't ever stop in again - and if you want a quality cut look elsewhere. read more

I've had issues in the past with barbers not really knowing how to blend my hair due to me being a female and not their usual client. They either make it too masculine or just give me an undercut without blending the sides well. But not at, Average Joes, I made an appointment through Booksy and stated what I needed and they set me up with Q. Q, was able to give me the blend and line up I was looking for. Appointment was on time and I didn't feel rushed! I will be going back. The shop itself is comfortable and well lit, smells amazing upon walking in, it's clean! The videos/music playing was good and wasn't overbearing or too loud. Everyone said hello upon entering. This is the type of place I was looking for. Heads up, you may drive right past it if you don't pay attention. It's in a shopping plaza! 4 stars only cause it's my first visit, I will update after a couple more visits! Second time coming here. First time the lady did a great job. Second time I was apparently late by 10m (heard the time wrong over the phone). The barber took offense and she proceeded to shave my beard disproportionally. One side being slanted lower and at a different angle than the other. At the end when she presented me with a mirror I asked her if they were even because they looked skewed. She said don't trust the mirrors they are curved! You look fine! LOL. Yeah OK. Ended up having to go to another barber shop to get it fixed for my wedding. Unbelievable. So petty. Don't bother coming here. They won't treat you right. read more

Omar is the real deal. Was there with my 11 year old son who is freshly obsessed with his hair. Got there right before closing and Omar greeted us and made sure we were comfortable. Good music videos playing on the tv screens with about 4 people waiting ahead of us. Omar and his other barber quickly took care of the other customers (who all appeared to be regulars). He asked how my son wanted his cut and I showed him a picture of what we wanted with a slight change and he completely delivered.
