Been going to Weston Town Center location since Luis transferred from Del's, and it's always excellent service. This time around he wasn't working but I really needed a cut for my upcoming job interviews. My brother went here and came home with his face all bloody and cut up. He went in for a hot towel shave. He has gone to other barbers and has NEVER come home looking like this. Everyone in my household were shocked to see him this way. I had to properly clean up his face and treat it because his skin was extremely red and irritated. Terrible job! Today my wife and I took my 3 grandsons to get back to school haircuts. Each of my grandsons was given the cost of the hair cut and a generous tip for the barber. After each haircut I talked with each of them to make sure they had paid for the haircut and tipped the barber. As we were leaving the cashier indicated we had not paid for one of the haircuts. She did not know which one of us didn't pay. I found this to be extremely embarrassing. I know that every one including my wife and I paid for our haircuts. I feel this was a mistake on the part of the cashier. It's definitely poor business practices on behalf of Ike's. If you use this business be careful. read more

As someone who has been coming twice a month to Ike's for the last 11 years, I can genuinely say that this Barber Shop is a quality establishment. I have been getting my cuts from Osmel since I was 15. And any (Bro to Barber bias aside), his cuts have always been precise, meticulous and stylish. He's not just a clipper-only Barber, he gives excellent scissor cuts as well. My friends constantly ask where I get my haircuts, which led me to recommending Ike's barbershop to a countless number of them who now come here consistently. I would always recommend calling in for an appointment but even at times where I had an emergency and barbers were fully booked out, Caroline and others have always managed to accommodate me. Frankie, Tes and the other barbers are talented, friendly and will know how to give you the haircut you want. If you read Anthony C's review. He said he prefers Hair Cuttery chains..... So I'd advise taking that whole review with a grain of salt, because every sensible, self respecting boy or man knows that chain salons are a cardinal sin of getting a proper haircut & shave. No matter where I travel in the world I always try to wait to come back home and get a cut here. These guys get the job done and done well. P.S. you never know who you'll see here! Where do I even start? Well, this establishment is less than a mile away from my house which goes without saying that I was here for every haircut just on convenience alone. I really can't believe I kept going for so long! First of all, the place is a mess. Granted you have the one in charge of sweeping the hair off the floor, but other than that the place just looks s-l-o-p-p-y. Towels everywhere, shaving cream in the sinks. Even the framed art was crooked. I blame the manager a.k.a. as the daughter of the owner. Clearly, she takes no pride over the establishment she has to run; allowing the employees to run amok as she is chatting on her phone, surfing the internet, and hosting friends at the front desk. Regarding the quality of the haircut, the staff is a little more skilled than most other barbers, but this seems to be the only criteria taken into consideration upon employment here because the staffers themselves are a little rough around the edges. Between the way this establishment is run along with the quality of employee, the haircut there is not worth the $20.00 nor the hot shaves, or any other service they've got. You want to feel as if you are really taking place in some sort of "mini-luxury" when you pay the prices that you do for services here, and it doesn't cut it. As for me, I prefer going to the local Hair Cuttery down the street...for being a chain, if you find the right barber that understands your style and hair, that's all you need! read more

I read some poor reviews about Ike's, but a friend of mine goes here, so I figured I would give it a try. I called and made an appointment and was able to get in within a reasonable time. I will admit, I went in on the defense as some of the reviews were unfavorable, so i was ready for some drama. It's not a high-end salon, and maybe they don't use Aveda products. But, in general, the place is clean and the staff polite and friendly. I'ts a basic barber shop and that's what you will get in a cut. As I walked to the station, I eyed some of the customers, and everyone seemed to have a good nice cut, so that put me at ease. The guy who cut my hair (forgot his name already) 2nd station by door was very polite and friendly, kept checking with me to make sure my cut was ok and offered me additional service (shave and eyebrows). Price was okay $20.. Back in NY I pay less for a barber cut, but it was worth it as I am from out of town and this place was very convenient. So, if you are looking for a good cut, then try Ike's. If you are worried about some of the art work being crooked, then skip Ike's and go to Wilton Manor's. read more

My Barber Sid is always doing his job to perfection without the need to give him directions. I went on a business trip to Miami but didn't have enough time to get a haircut. This was the first time in the area and Ike's was recommended from someone I knew. Wow, I went in that day and I saw a sports athlete there! Will not name them but I hear alot of them go there.
