Living at Den Rock has been nothing but disappointing. Upon move in (in a newly renovated…read moreapartment), we had to place upwards of 10 work orders within the first two weeks. Orders ranged from our front door lock being installed upside down to there being a metal fan with sharp blades uncovered in the common entryway. There have been additional safety concerns here as well, such as our entire building smelling like marijuana on a daily basis, sometimes as early as 8 AM on weekdays. The smell frequently comes into our unit, either through pipes, the front door, or through connecting walls. Windows do not stay open to properly ventilate the common areas. We have been told the same information from property management for months regarding the tenants that continuously smoke indoors and no progress has been made on any resolution. The lease states this is a smoke free community when in reality it is not - falsely leading tenants to believe this community is family friendly. Last summer the community pool turned green. Windows in the gym do not all properly open to ventilate the area. Parking spaces are small - if a car is parked next to you, it is nearly impossible to get a child out of their car seat. Snow removal is chaotic and not adequately done. We have voiced our concerns to maintenance, property management, and Fairfield Residential. Our concerns were met with disregard and lack of professionalism. I would urge families to think twice before moving here.

What a wonderful apartment complex. We are signing our second lease, since we weren't ready to…read morepurchase a home quite yet, and it was a no brainer to stay here at River Pointe. We could have decided to go somewhere closer to work but the service we get here is extraordinary. June is a real treasure, she truly cares about the tenants and will do everything in her power to make sure they are well taken care of. The apartments themselves are cozy with a good amount of natural light. I love the walk-in closets and the choice to have vinyl flooring throughout the apartment is great. A little pantry in the kitchen has proven useful and a good space-saver. I love the balconies and how we are able to walk to Den Rock Park. We do not have any complaints regarding the snow removal, they have been prompt and efficient. It's great that they have the option for a garage and a fireplace. Rent is definitely cheaper in Lawrence than in North Andover, but you are practically living in North Andover so it's a win-win. Reading the previous reviews, I do agree that the parking spots are a little tight and if someone parks incorrectly, it definitely throws the other spots off, it can be a little irritating.

The place is okay but definitely overpriced and unfortunately unlivable. I'm a dog owner so I love…read morethat they allow pets but some owners don't clean up after their pets and even walk them unleashed. My biggest issue though has been weed smoking in the building that seeps into my apartment daily. I have dealt with this everyday since I moved in about 5 months ago. The leasing office told me to call them when this happens and I have many times but the issue persists. At this point it's making me very ill as I have asthma. I have had to leave my apartment on weekends to breathe. Anytime is rains I have leaks that come in my living room so I have to strategically place my furniture and the blinds don't keep the sun out. What complicates the issue even more is that I work from home so I get to work with a contact high that makes me nauseous. I also have a HUGE electric bill because the windows are drafty even though the maintenance team seals them. Again a bigger issue with weed smoke being stuck in my apartment. The heating ducts are right at the top of the apartment so the heat just rises. Oh and for location this is definitely the hood. Just take a drive up Jackson street to see what I'm talking about. The maintenance team is responsive and friendly so full marks there. For the money they are asking I'd look for something else.

ON TOP OF IT ALL fire alarms constantly ringing at all times of the nigh 2am-3am , and when they decide to fix them they decided it was smart idea to start ringing alarms at 7 am in the morning interrupting anyone that sleep during the day (me) ! hey just a nurse that works night shift , and after its been my third day with no sleep I decided to call and, all front desk had to tell me that it was for our safety thar it'll happen for the rest of the WEEK . I curious to know why this couldn't be rang at a reasonable time for the people that pay 2,800 of rent I should be able to sleep in atleast till 11 a, I can give a fuck about an alarm being fixed at the time of my sleep.i have never lived in a building that has so little compassion for THEIR TENANTS ! and it has so many problems with the alarm , maybe the building should be shut down if the the system needs a WEEK for fixing. Also the building was built so fast that's probably another reason why the alarms Continues to go off, only two small elevators so your furniture will Not fit in the elevator if it's not measured or you will have to move your couch/ furniture up the stairs because they couldn't even provide their tenants with an industrial elevator to make it easier for move in day. just waiting for lease to be over , sick of giving these people my money and they I can't even sleep in my own apartment. Sincerly, A TIRED BITCH !!!!

Elevators on "low income side" are a year past safety inspection, parking is widely reserved for section of building that has the highest rent/ income to to the property, and parking for the "low income" residents is little to none even with parking passes acquired; and the leaseing office tells you you can park across the street in a small lot apx 1/4 mile from entrance closest to your apartment and that's when they are even in the office because it seems they are never there to service tenants and when they are in the office they are rude and do not want to assist, unless you are part of the elite residents that are paying 2,500 plus for rent. All in all worse place to move into, unless you are planning to spend thousands a month on rent and obtain the elite treatment

Pictures speak louder than words!!!…read more Brown water every other WEEK. If you're lucky just a couple times every month. Had a baby we couldn't bathe ever, never mind shower ourselves. Cant do dishes and our laundry was always ruined. Asked for reimbursement of some type because every time we did our laundry all our clothes were brown and/or smelled of bad water. We literally had to throw out our clothes in the constant over packed trash dumpster where coyotes and every other animal like to go to every night. Not fun! We moved. See ya never!

I've never once received a response to multiple emails about the overflowing dumpsters and the smell and vermin they're attracting. Broken windows in the hallway between apartments. in January 2022, my rent went up from $1950/month to $2300/month. In October 2022, I received my lease for 2023 - $400/month rent increase starting in January 2023. I was astonished- $700/month rent increase over the course of 2 years living here?!? I went to the office to try and discuss this with hope of working something out. the woman working there greeted me with a curt "nothing I can do about it". i Left my contact info with her and asked if someone in a position to do something would please contact me, Before the October 15 lease deadline. I've heard crickets. so now you're finally responding with a canned response only after I left an honest detailed Yelp review about this complex. Ha - the irony!
