I would suggest that if you have a big job that this contractor is not who you should choose. It…read morewas delay after delay, his staff showing up when they wanted to, showing up late to go and do other quotes while on the job, neglectful in their duties (did not cover floors and left our home an absolute disaster), put 3M duct tape over the holes he (owner) created in our sheetrock because they covered our electrical receptacles and literally slapped mudding over it. He does not have a standard crew and has no pre-planning ability thus leading to unnecessary delays. We decided to part ways with him as our job was scheduled to be completed in January...it's March and still "looking for someone to assist him". We should have stuck with our initial thoughts of severing the contract last month, but decided to give him (owner) a chance to fix it. When we had enough and asked him to finish the paint job that he was fully paid for and we would complete the project at a later time he came to our home gathered his tools and left without completing the job. I have receipts showing he was paid in full, video of the state of our home, text messages and contract to prove all of this. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else. He has multiple names for his business and recently merged with his wife using Navy & Grey designs! We didn't do any business with the interior design so I wouldn't deter anyone from trying her services. Be aware of his multiple business names! #Navy&GreyDesigns #OldOakRenovations #William BarnesHomeServices

Rolling Shades was not the lowest bid, but we felt their bid was the most professional and thorough. They estimated the project would take 5 days. The end result is very good. Victor exudes excellent customer service which is important especially when working with a contractor for a long period of time. He communicates well and will let you know if there is a material delay or anything else that can happen when performing home improvement projects. He's honest and there are no hidden costs. He replaced my picture window which had a leak but once he Victorized it I never had any problems no matter how hard it rains. He also repaired and replaced window screens and blinds. I have already referred them to other people. I highly recommend them.

Please get an estimate in writing if you hire Victor from New Concepts Construction. I made a very…read moreexpensive mistake hiring Victor, the owner of the company. He verbally quoted me $1,500 for an IKEA laminate counter kitchen installation. The cost of the IKEA laminate counter (3 pieces) was only $300. I felt the $1,500 was a bit high but I was having trouble finding someone to install laminate and Victor seemed knowledgeable regarding my project. The project should have taken a day, but Victor was extremely slow. He also let me know he now charges hourly. After day one, he was still setting up his equipment and adjusting my an ikea kitchen drawers which he claimed were off. Not much more done on day 2, day 3, finally started cutting counter tops. I asked him repeatedly where were were on price which he said he would let me know but did not. The evening before he did the actual install on my counter he sent me a text stating he was at $4,500. I was could not even believe this. I did not respond until the next day when he arrived. I had a conversation with him regarding the price he was now charging, he said he had to adjust some cabinets, I did not even pay that much to have my whole IKEA kitchen installed! I knew he was going to leave me is a mess, no counter, sink, etc. I told him to finish and when he was done, I tried to talk with him again about the original $1,500 estimate to now $4,500. He got very heated, so I gave him a check for the full amount which I so regret now but I was uncomfortable with his reaction and wanted him to leave my home. Please beware and don't make the same mistakes I did by hiring Victor who took total advantage of me and he knows it.

They restored my backyard, I am able to use it without the worry about standing water. As apart of the maintenance and upkeep of the drain system, Jeff came back out this week (July 2025) and checked to ensure everything is still working properly on my system. I truly appreciate his attention to details and being consistent with communication with me. This company does great work! The quality and value of the service is top tier. I have recommended Jeff and his team to my friends. I have more visions about additions I would like added to my backyard as it relates to hardscape/landscaping projects and I will entrust the job to this company; when I'm ready.

Communication was great, every time I called he either picked up the phone or called me back quickly, he was always so patient explaining what was needed and why. The tile was laid so beautifully and much of the floor had to be laid down one piece at a time. The frame is so expertly mitered and joined. They cleaned everything up perfectly afterward. It was all a perfect experience. I would not hesitate to have them again or recommend them to anyone.

I had hired this contractor to renovate my house and add a detached garage. I had assumed a…read moreconstruction loan for this project which would not pay until an invoice was sent, and an inspection was completed. I had to pay for each inspection individually. Me being a contractor, in a different field, had knowledge of the proper order of procedure for this project to be completed properly. In the initial meeting, addressing the issue of a dip in the floor was my main concern. I was assured that it was no problem. When it came time to the actual repair, he told me that he did not know how to fix it. So, I had to fix it myself. Also, I had to go back over his extremely shotty workmanship on the sheet rock, the painting, and the plumbing as he continued to drag his feet through this project over an 8-month period. He constantly wanted me to pay him before the actual payment was sent from the lender. Which I did to help him out because of his lack of funds. Big red flag! He was unable to keep the proper information and paperwork to the lender, in a timely manner, to keep the payments flowing. Needing to move back in, I worked nights and weekends, in the house, to get it to livable conditions. I paid his last invoice of nearly 12,000.00 and have not been reimbursed from the lender because of his lack of completion of just the renovation itself. After being ghosted for a couple of months, he finally responded with a text stating that it was too much of a hassle to send invoices and have his work inspected before payment. The garage was never even started. I have wires for the exterior lights hanging out of my house. I tried my best to help this fellow to complete this project by buying and delivering materials, cleaning up his constant messes, going over his work, paying him out of my pocket, and being patent with his procrastination of completing just the renovation. I hope no other homeowner has to go through this. Beware!
