A couple of LA County Sheriffs had also stopped in for coffee, and we made small talk while I payed for my coffee. A cursory look around the store showed all the usual stock of snacks, treats, drinks, and all the nicotine you can smoke behind the counter. COVID safety measures include a plastic sheet across the register, and the usual signage to wash your hands and wear a mask. Not quite as neurotic as my local 7 Eleven stores that now insist on pouring my coffee for me... not sure what that's about. In any event, conveniently close to Bonelli Park where I've started running again, so I'm sure I'll be here in the near future for a post-exercise calorie and caffeine refill!

When employees take restrooms breaks or lunch they close so expect this to happen 3-4 times a day I know because me and my co workers use the same liquor we are in and out multiple times through the day Today though at around 7pm I had the worst experience so far . New guy he thinks he is boss or the owner for some reason acts really tough . He says I need a I'd for you to buy cigarette I told him wow this is first time I get asked for id card in 3 years ok . I lost my I'd I told him if I can show him my I'd on pic he says no . So I walk out go to my car and find a passport with my birth date walk back inside . And tell him I have passport he says that's fine . By this time their is 10 people in front of me . So I wait patiently 5-10 mins .. it's my turn he tells me my passport is expired I'm like are you serious bro it's just cigarettes and not alcohol . Also, a coke in frozen form enhances the carbonated flavor, allowing for a greater enduringly, refreshing soft drink! This is one of the smaller 7-Eleven locations I've been to, yet still a handy convenient store. This location is also incredibly clean, organized, and there is a super efficient process for picking up one's free slurpee (small-sized slurpee cups are already laid out on a table when you walk up to the slurpee line with a team member getting your chosen flavor; after that, you walk to the cashier line where they double check to see if you aren't purchasing anything else besides the on-the-house slurpee; quick in-and-out procedure of obtaining a slurpee). The entire trip in the store took less than a minute and by then I was out the door, slurpee in hand, enjoying every sip of it wholeheartedly. In the future, I'll be visiting this 7-Eleven for my Coca-Cola slurpee cravings on a blistering hot summer day.

I saw Chevron on my right side. Drove right into the gas station. Picked pump #6. Got out of my car, chose payment type, and started pumping. Didn't go inside the Extra Mile Mart since I paid at the pump (my preferred choice). Afterwards, I was on my way out to head home. A very quick visit! Gas station was clean and bright. Pumps were well maintained. Prices are usually a bit higher than Costco or Sam's Club gas. Funny, both Costco and Sam's Club are nearby this Chevron. I thought they were closed so I came here instead. Best to check their hours first to save a few LOL. Anyway, no big deal. The Chevron in Gladstone saved me. Gas prices here are $.60 a gallon less than at the Shell or the Arco in Glendora. Shell and Arco in Glendora both told me that the restrooms were "out of service." I ask you: where does the gas station attendant pee? In a special secret bathroom on another planet? Come on. People count on gas stations for three things: gas, road snacks and drinks, and a working toilet. Chevron on Gladstone in Glendora is fantastic. Low gas prices. Big shop with good variety of snack foods and drinks, and a fantastically clean restroom with hot water to wash your hands. Plenty of soap, too. Not a speck of anything on the floors. Thank you, Glendora Chevron on Gladstone, for saving me in my most desperate hour of need. I was about to wet my pants. Now I have a full tank of gas in the car, too, and I'm ready to drive on. After drinking it, I quickly realized it was not in fact zero sugar due to the sticky residue left inside my cup. Though I am not diabetic, My younger sister who often visits this 7/11 is and an incident like this would send her straight to the hospital. As if things couldn't get much worse, when I was about to check out the worker was extremely rude. I had to greet him several times before he finally responded, watching pornographic content with earbuds in during his shift. Absolutely disgusted.
