We first came to this orthodontics office in 2018 for myself, and since then both of my sons have become patients as well. My youngest son just completed his first phase, and we continue to have such a great experience every time we visit. Both of my boys needed bite and jaw adjustments -- one had a strong overbite and the other had a strong underbite. Dr. Bernstein was extremely knowledgeable and did a wonderful, pain-free, non-surgical job correcting both issues before continuing with braces to straighten their teeth. The results have been amazing, and we've felt confident throughout the entire process. Dr. Bernstein is honest, personable, and professional. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and truly cares about his patients and their families. The office staff is always welcoming and friendly. Even though they see so many patients, they still remember my kids and ask about events or activities we talked about at previous visits. That personal touch makes every appointment feel more comfortable and makes you feel like more than just another patient. I recommend this orthodontics office to anyone and everyone looking for quality care and a genuinely kind team. I had my Invisalign done here and had a very pleasant experience. They worked with me closely on my plan, and all staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The equipment and workplace is very clean and well kept. During my treatment, they were very on top of it and got my teeth the way I wanted. The actual dentist dude with an accent was really cool the lady who initially took my braces off and help me out was cool too but when I came back to fix my retainer the lady literally ripped it off my bottom brace without taking the both back edges off first secondly I have really long hair that got stuck in that chair that reclines and she said in her words I literally can't help you maybe it's because you're laying on it when it was stuck in the chair I found that to be so fucking rude on top of her not being gentle with my fucking braces and then she fills around my mouth rather than letting me shut my mouth and move my tongue around to see if it feels good in my mouth and I'm like I think if I had a moment to like really shut my mouth move my tongue around I could feel if The retainer is still sharp or not she said actually no it doesn't work like that I would think if the retainers in my mouth your fingers aren't in my mouth 24 seven and wouldn't fill those sharp edges depending on how Move read more

Referred to Dr. Bernstein by a coworker. Specifically asked, "who is the best in town", and this is who she referred me to. Let me just say, it was a good fit from the beginning. I had to cancel the first appt due to school conflicts. Their office made sure to do a curtisy follow-up to reschedule. Very accommodating. Was able to work with my busy work schedule, and my very difficult ex-husband. :) Arrived on time and they did a panaroramic X-ray of my daughters jawline prior to me meeting the doctor. Then when we met, all questions were throughly answered. We had seen two previous orthodontists who had a completely different approach, and I really liked the conservative and confident approach Dr. Bernstein and his staff displayed. (He and his staff are their own models of his work). From the receptionists to the billing, to the technician, and the doctor himself... They were ALL VERY patient, explaining everything in detail from billing, to plan of care, to the actual care itself as it was happening. We truly appreciated all of it! Would highly recommend this place to anyone/everyone. The application of braces took roughly 45 minutes, and the staff kindly stayed over-time without even a grumble. Great experience! Not polite would recommend not to come here very rude to me and my son the people couldn't do anything right on my teeth

I've been taking our daughter to Bernstein's in Windsor for over two years now, she's on her second round of braces of a corrective set that was a flying success, thanks to Dr. Bernstein and his team (she even got those off early). We're in the bracket "check up" phase now and I have to say that our daughter's care and treatement is always stellar. The staff is friendly and the technicians are as fast as they are knowledgable. What makes it even better is the fun environment they provide their young patients. It's so inviting and parents are welcome in the "communal" dental office. Dr. Bernstein is awesome! He is always very friendly and loves to talk about sports. The office is clean and I love the safari theme. The staff is very professional and always there when you need to reschedule an appointment, when you break a bracket, or if you need to set up a payment arrangement. Which brings me to my next point. Bernstein Orthodontics makes it easy and affordable to receive treatment. They offer flexible monthly payments without even doing a credit check and they work with your insurance company to make sure everything goes according to plan. Horrible customer service time and again. $12,000 spent on my 2 kids braces over the last 4 years and time and again I'm disappointed by the poor customer service. Last experience with them Friday called to say my son had broken his retainer, for the FIRST time and could I have it replaced, yes for $199! The stated he already had a replacement...I clarify, yes a replacement because the first set you didn't fit right and they were causing his gums to bleed! Nope sorry, you'll have to pay for 2nd set!!! Would not recommend them at all!! read more

I went there because it was reccomended by my sister whose daughter is a patient and it was close to where we live. I have to admit that I was foolishly taken in by their marketing which I now realize I paid for. I wish I would have done my own research because it was a very costly mistake. Braces were for a serious over bite. Told first phase was to correct overbite. Braces were put on top teeth only. The second phase would be for more cosmetic reasons. After first phase was done given invisalign type retainer it was then suggested to start second phase to correct "over bite" and braces would be on both top and bottom with rubber bands. This is what the first phase was suppose to be for. Invisalign type retainer did not work as it should as teeth moved considerably even though worn as instructed. In addition, retainer replacement (first one is no charge) costs $250 which they make on the premise. Payment plan is availabe for $99 down and monthly payments thereafter for a replacement retainer but it's still a $250 retainer. Or you can pay $800 for a lifetime retainer replacement program. This is just taking advantage. I will not be returning for the second phase due to exhorbant prices, inferior results and misleading information. read more
