She explained what they would do, how they would do it and also gave me a good dental hygiene tip as well. It was evident how much she really enjoys her job, she was very passionate about dentistry. The ladies at the desk who answered my call to set up my appointment were nothing but polite, welcoming and friendly. The office also mailed me a packet of paperwork to fill out ahead of my appointment. That struck me as being very organized. There was a cancellation also, so I was contacted and asked if I could come in early and I was able to get in early. They are still doing the mask thing and temperatures. Not a fan of that but it's the "guidelines"- so it's ok, I suppose. One thing I liked was that Dr Brophy did the exam before the cleaning. I liked that because once the cleaning is done you can get out. In the past at other offices you end up waiting and waiting for the final dentist look over. Dr Brophy was professional. I felt that I got a very thorough exam as well. This practice is general dentistry only, anything major like root canals you'll be referred out. Don't love that either but that's the way they do it here in this area.

I chose this business specifically to support a local provider, even after explaining up front that…read moremy situation was complicated. I was assured everything would be handled properly. That did not happen. From the start, the appointments felt rushed and incomplete. I waited from October until late December for my glasses. When they finally arrived, they were unusable -- severe blurriness, headaches, and visual distortion. I was later involved in a minor auto accident that I believe was directly related to the poor vision from these glasses. When I tried to have the issue addressed, I was told "it's been too long" to help -- despite the fact that the office was closed for holidays much of that time and operates appointment-only, often requiring voicemail messages just to make contact. This is not a normal or accessible business operation. The glasses were eventually sent back out, leaving me without usable glasses for yet another month. I was told my eyes would be rechecked to ensure nothing was missed, but that never happened. I was rushed out without a proper exam. In January, I was given only two narrow pickup time options, with no mention of checking the lenses, adjusting the frames, or verifying the prescription. The expectation was simply to pick them up so the matter could be closed, regardless of the unresolved problems or the delays caused on their end. There was no consideration for the disruption this caused or the ongoing issues I explained. Requests for follow-up and a refund were ignored. This was an extremely disappointing experience. After months of waiting, I am out both my money and functional glasses. I regret choosing this business and cannot recommend it.

It's hard to understand any positive reviews for this office -- anyone who has experienced a…read morethorough, professional exam and cleaning elsewhere would quickly notice the difference which is like night and day. The cleaning lasted less than 10 minutes and only included a quick scraping and polish. There was no thorough exam -- no gum measurements, no photos, and no detailed explanation of findings shown on a big screen. The dentist herself spent barely three minutes with me, glanced at my X-rays from across the room, and said everything looked fine. This was concerning because my previous dentist had already informed me that two of my silver fillings were leaking and needed replacement, which this dentist said are fine. Missed other issues my previous dentist had flagged as well. I also asked about possible thrush. She took a two-second look and told me I didn't have it. The very next day, my family doctor diagnosed me with a severe case that required 21 days of treatment. Since then, I've gone to another dentist who addressed my cavities properly and even removed stains from my teeth -- something this office told me wasn't possible. To make matters worse, the billing was misleading. Before my appointment, I confirmed multiple times (via email, voicemail, and even their own website) that they accepted my insurance. At checkout, I was told I owed nothing. Later, I received a bill for over $150 because they claimed it was out of network. My insurance did cover part of it, but the balance due was still higher than what I would have paid out of pocket at another dentist -- where I also would have received a much more thorough cleaning and exam. Now they continue to call and threaten collections, despite my having proof of what I was told regarding insurance. Good luck to them! Overall, I had a poor experience with the care, professionalism, and billing practices at this office, and I recommend seeking care elsewhere. If you're looking for quality care, I highly recommend R&W dental or Malloy & Devine Signature Dental. Both provide thorough exams, take the time to explain everything, and deliver the level of professionalism and treatment patients deserve.
