Through the entire process Gary was not only helpful in regards to creating a tasting that would mesh well with our firm, but also in giving me recommendations on food, desserts, where to purchase and making sure I had a checklist of every item I should have at the event. This was my first time handling a solo event where there was no event staff to help and when Gary and Junko arrived they dove right in not only setting themselves up but also helping me get everything right. The event was a huge success and the firms partners and guests alike were all enthralled with the wines chosen, vast knowledge and extremely charismatic character of Gary and Junko. On Labor Day Monday, I took the Hampton Luxury Liner from Manhattan to Montauk. I thought the bus…read morewas going to be full since it was a holiday. It was empty. Excluding me and the driver, there were about 10 passengers. I had two seats to myself. And speaking of seats, they were very comfortable. There was decent legroom (I'm 6'1"). Initially, I couldn't find the outlet. I eventually discovered that it' was hidden under the seat. And unlike the Hampton Jitney, the bus wasn't covered with a tacky looking wrapping. The bus left Manhattan at 1 PM. It was scheduled to arrive at Montauk at 4:15 PM. It arrived at 3:28. And with that said, the ride was far from perfect. The bus was as bumpy as a school bus. It was pure torture. The driver seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. He wasn't mean, just apathetic. Other than checking in people and announcing the stops in a soft voice, he said nothing. I paid $34 which is reasonable. The Luxury Liner doesn't run nearly as frequently as the Jitney or LIRR Montauk branch. Furthermore, you don't get the VIP treatment like on the Hampton Ambassador. If you're looking for a no frills experience and you don't care about comfort then the Luxury Liner is ideal.

The company shrugged the shoulders and told us there was nothing they could do, and that it was an "upgrade". One motion-sick trip later, we called up, nothing was offered, but they swore that the return trip a few days later would be the 33-person passenger bus that we paid for. What came was a 24 person passenger bus. Luckily there were some people who could carpool with others, otherwise we would have run out of space. They refunded $100, and never apologized. Do not use.

When they started asking me for the details of what I needed it for, I mentioned it was for my wedding. This prompted an immediate transfer to their "weddings" department. At their "weddings" department, I had to start over and explain what I needed. They must not have realized that I had already received a full quote from their "non-weddings" department because they quoted me $1,900. When I asked them why it was going to cost an extra $800 for my wedding (same number of hours, same location), they said they offer a "premium" service for weddings. So naturally I asked what that entailed. Their answer? The drive wears a tuxedo. I asked if they could just let the drivers wear their normal outfit and save me $800 and they said no. They rudely followed this up with "If you're looking to save $800 maybe we're not the company for you". So they're not the company for me. Fine. They also shouldn't be the company for you. Who wants to pay $800 for their limo driver to wear a tuxedo? $800? Am I buying him or her a tuxedo? TL;DR? They are rude on the phone and seem to think that a wedding justifies a massive price increase with negligible benefit (you be the judge) for the same service. I think that's bad service.

Phone number linked on their website (which is still up) goes to a new owner that doesn't operate any limo or party bus. I spoke to the manager we dealt with, Necole, and apparently she got scammed too by the owner. She's owed at least 10 weeks pay and the owner, FADY ISAK, screwed over all his employees. He allowed them to take reservations knowing that he couldn't fulfill them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
