There was a group about to leave that we could join so it worked perfectly. We filled out the wavers and also rented a Go Pro for our helmet. After that, we got our harness from our two guides. The two guides we had were amazing and so informative and the kept us entertained the entire time. They actually made the experience fun for us. For 80 per person, you get to ride six different lines that range in height, distance, and speed. Before every ride, the guides give safety tips and the best way to enjoy the ride. For a first-time rider, I'm so glad I was in the hands of Canopy Ridge I felt safe and I was never unsure on every line. It also involves some hiking but only a few steps. We enjoyed being in Nature and the weather was perfect. If you are ever in the area of Canopy Ridge Farm is a must.

It is $20/person and $5 for each cooler float. -You will go over to the area to get on the shuttle. It was a little slow but only because they had a huge party to pick up to bring back. -Sky Tubing shuttles you to your starting point, this is where you get your float(s). They have staff members there to connect your float(s) and cooler float, if one was purchased. Then they move the floats around so each person can get in without getting into the water. -It is now time to float away, trip times vary depending on the water level. Our trip lasted 3 hours and you can stop along the way. -When your trip is done staff members will be there to help you get out of the water and a bus will take you back to where you parked. I will have to say my experience with Sky Tubing was way better than it was with Zen Tubing. I highly recommend this company.

I happened across Pisgah Mountain Bike Adventures while searching the area on Google maps. Being new to the sport and mostly riding solo I thought it'd be a good idea to have a local guide show me the more challenging terrain. Luke contacted me before our ride to get an idea of what I might like so he could choose a route for us. We hit some of black mountain, Avery Creek, and Bennett Gap trails. Challenging climbs, steep descents, and chunky flow. We did about 18 miles with 3700' of climbing. Luke did a great job of giving me the proper introduction to Pisgah mountain biking. I went on to ride the rest of the week in the area with more confidence thanks to my decision to use PMBA. Thanks Luke and Chris!

He knew we were coming from out of town so he emailed me a list of places to visit, which he didn't have to do! He also knew we were new to mountain biking so he made sure to teach us techniques until we were fully comfortable. Our mountain biking abilities improved drastically because of Bill. He suggested easy trails versus hard trails to make sure we were always enjoying our ride. He took us to see cascading waterfalls and even showed us secret trails to get us behind the waterfall! We got a reminder email THE DAY BEFORE but when we got to the meetup site, no one showed up. We called all the numbers and emailed with no response from anyone, just automatic replies saying that the business was closed! We want a refund but can't get ahold of anyone, it's like RICHARD ADDISON BROWN just evaporated into thin air and stole our money!! We will be taking this up with the courts! We drove two hours for that hot air balloon ride and had to get a sitter to watch our baby and had to wake up at 4am to get there but nobody showed up or had the decency to tell us!! ZERO STARS

The first hour was on forest trails with slight inclines & declines. Anyone can do it even if you've never ridden before. Second half of ride was mostly walking upstream then downstream in a slow flowing river. Horses seemed to really enjoy this as it zigzagged up about 1/4 mile. We recently visited this area and went horse riding. We did the 1 hour mountain trail. it was okay…read more, lots of up and down . The horses were great and the people were nice but it was strange that there was no proper business area where you pay and sign the paperwork like we have been used to with other stables we have visited in the past. It was just a picnic table. Also during the ride our guide was watching her phone the whole time . And when the time came that we stopped in the trail and she was offering the horses a treat, she offered them peppermint candy she hand in her purse. Then she for warned us that this would make the horses gassy. I don't understand why she would give them this! Then when our ride was over our horses went straight to look for water from their buckets and they were completely empty. I don't understand how on our whole hour ride no one could have water ready for them for when we got back.
