We originally wanted to do the lower part of the river but after going in and talking to the guide and the staff in the store we decided to switch over to the upper part of the river for our expedition! Our family has done some kayaking in the local rivers and parks near our house but only my wife and I had ever been whitewater rafting. So this was all new for our kids and one of their friends. Youngest in the group was 12 and he was a rockstar just like all the teenagers.
