It is $20/person and $5 for each cooler float. -You will go over to the area to get on the shuttle. It was a little slow but only because they had a huge party to pick up to bring back. -Sky Tubing shuttles you to your starting point, this is where you get your float(s). They have staff members there to connect your float(s) and cooler float, if one was purchased. Then they move the floats around so each person can get in without getting into the water. -It is now time to float away, trip times vary depending on the water level. Our trip lasted 3 hours and you can stop along the way. -When your trip is done staff members will be there to help you get out of the water and a bus will take you back to where you parked. This bro soak had everything: bros, tubes, beers, water, rocks, thrills (small rapids), and more. On the way there, I suggested we stop for sunscreen. I took a considerable amount of shit for this (looking at you, Lance - thanks for driving though). Lance brought me to a CVS and I got 3 sunscreens: spray, cream, face. I lent the spray to Eddy and never saw it again. The cream was confiscated at the airport for being too large. I still have the face one and wear it everyday to remember my absolute boys whomst I love. Most people besides me got insane sunburn, I remain smug about this to this day. Anyway, the tubing was great. I would consider it a team building activity. On the way to the water, the handle on the cooler I was carrying got detached and the beers/ice went everywhere but nobody made fun of me. This meant a lot to me because most would consider me to be on the sensitive side and I felt like an absolute loser AT FIRST until I realized that my boys accept me no matter what. So we got on the water, tied up, floated, listened to music. It was truly v Zen. We laughed, cried, sang. We were at the mercy of The River; I believe it deemed us worthy. The river/spiritual guides say that the graffiti bridge marks 30-40 minutes left. This is not true. The water basically stopped moving so it was like an hour plus. We all got separated but reunited on shore and got sick tacos from White Duck Taco. Neil and I got like coconut margs and they slapped. One thought I had is that it's kinda weird that they sell dry bags and other tubing related necessities at the finish line and not where you drop off your car. Like we got to the end and I see this shop and I'm like damn I wish we could've purchased this stuff BEFORE my adventure. That's my only gripe. If you wanted to take a phone, don't get a fancy dry bag; use a ziplock bag. This is not white water rafting. The trip took just a little less than 2 hours. The business was affected by the hurricane, so they need your business.

He is a great guide, magnificent navigator of white water, great cook and a really nice guy. Does not mind fetching an errant cast into the trees, reties and never complains. Very patient. I plan on fishing with him again soon. He also provides excellent tackle, not the cheap stuff. I was impressed with his knowledge of the river and where every dangerous rock is. He rowed 2 days in the drift boat and never skipped a beat. It is a really nice drift boat too. Nice memory for me and my buddy Tom. We didn't count the first day, but the 2nd day we caught 68 fish.

From our first phone call to book our climbing adventure to the minute we left the parking lot at the trailhead, Pisgah Climbing was professional, prompt, attentive, safe and super fun. Our guide was quick to figure out our skill and knowledge level in order to customize our climbing so that we felt adequately challenged but not in over our heads. One of us was more capable than the other and yet we still each were given a chance to try different pitches, and even repel! Having a guide that was informed about the local area, wildlife, (brought bug repellent for chiggers, which we didn't know about), and made it easy for us to meet up and get to the trailhead made all the difference. The equipment they use is well maintained and this guide was highly skilled. He was a good teacher/coach too. An excellent guide can read people and make smart, quick decisions based on conversation to build trust quickly with the participants. We had not one iota of doubt in our guide. This was pricey for us, but worth every bit of the cost.
