..... The school…read moredistricts get squeezed by the province I know - but still. To get my girl into Kindergarten it was a gong show. Registered at 2 schools, on the waiting list for 2 more. The one we wanted her to go to was one of the waiting list schools. So we registered at two to hold spots. After two months we got a call for her to get into the top choice, but isn't there a better system than to clog student lists? Frustrating to say the least. But we almost always dealt with pleasant people so that was nice.

They teach and grade just like they do in university/ college. Regent is also known for its close knit classes so the people in your grade end up being like your family the years you spend there and for the most part beyond your school years there. They have a lot of great missionary opportunities. And I really enjoyed being apart of them. I was able to help out people and learn about a new culture. I would recommend anyone to join this school. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be who I am today. Or have the great education I have now.

As a new teacher I learned many skills from my wonderful co-teachers and learned qualities of generosity, caring and trust from the principal Rita Gausman. All through the years I have kept in touch with Rita Gausman and benefitted from her wisdom in managing my own Montessori classrooms. Considerable activity on the school grounds this summer -- with the installation of four, new…read more'portable units'. We have been able to watch much of the action from our apartment's balcony -- from initial clearing of the ground, laying of the concrete bed, studs, and all, to the actual moving of the units into place. Finishing touches to be done from now on, not much for us to view from here, but hope to drop by for a closer look once or twice over the next while.
