Summit Middle school can be easily compared and mixed up when compared to such facilities such as jail. The student's combined IQ is coincidentally identical to such a gang of monkeys in the Amazon Forest. Deodorant is only such a dream in this school. It is practically extinct. Not only are the student's actions questionable, so are the teachers and staff of this so-called "school." One of the many hilarious actions taking place in the school is teachers and staff investing in huge amounts of money to resources such as an outdoor classroom. Keep in mind, the classroom is simply, 7-9 concrete blocks. the same blocks you would see in such a construction site or as I mentioned, jail. There are though some key highlights which have made my years in Summit a pinch more enjoyable. The crowded hallways remind me of the Chinese subways of my hometown, the sports courts remind me of my time in juvenile detention. Summit by definition is the peak of something, and as we are all concerned the only peak Summit has obtained is the peak of boredom, lack of care, and ridiculous behaviour. Due to the rule of no eating in the hallways, students are either forced to go to the cramped cafeteria, where the max captivity is 300 students or so, which consequently leads to the other 400 students to go outside, to commonly suffer from illnesses such as influenza in the cold rain. I personally, did not eat my lunch, to avoid going outside, which lead to an unhealthy cycle that my body could not handle. These are only some of the radical factors in where staff had desperately tried to enforce power amongst us, students. The garbage on the floor, especially in the sport's court of the school, has been littered with garbage. The garbage in the garbage cans has not been taken out, which leads to an overflow of garbage. If someone would take a quick peek to the monstrosity of what the sports court is, they would have to play a game of finding the difference with the streets of India. In my opinion this school is just one of those ordinary middle schools you join, but there is alot of hate and racism/homophobia in this school which I haven't seen so much before. This is not a rant, just the truth in my POV. the absolute audacity these students have are both admirable and offending. they just walk up to you and ask, "are you gay?" can you just mind your own business, please??? like what the.. also, the gym is filled to the top with stinky students in this school. the teachers are crap at math and honestly, the school projects they give us is cringe. at least the staff try to educate us. - my classmate read more
