I'd give six stars if I could.
Mike just completed our landmarked Victorian house, and I could not be happier, start to finish, with what he and his crew did for us.
--Mike was attentive to our requests from the start, deferring appropriately to my wife's aesthetic vision and our historical constraints, but also, when asked, weighing in with expert and useful opinions on decisions. The plan was clear, but also built in adaptability, like when they'd paint different sections in slightly different ways to 'test drive' how colors play against each other differently, and even tested out different varieties and configurations of gold! All this led to the end result on the five color plus gold accents paint job turning out better than we had envisioned.
-Mike and his crew did the job like clockwork, with impressive skill. From setup to prep to final detailing, everything was calmly and precisely executed. Their process is clearly borne of years working together. For us, everything was carefully hand painted, no spray guns, and the details clearly show the experience and skill they bring to the job.
-Energetically, it was such a relief. These guys are pros, sure. But they are also very pleasant, calm people. Even though they spent 4 weeks on our property in close proximity to the family, the property felt calm and strangely undisrupted in spite of all the scaffolding and ladders. I've had many contractors do great technical work, with a snarl, and in this market sometimes it feels like you have to take what you can get. With Mike you don't have to choose - smiles all around.
