After checking my Flexible Spending MasterCard, I realized I had been charged twice for the same transaction, leaving me with a negative balance that I had to repay to my account. When I called VisionWorks, they claimed it didn't happen. Then, mysteriously, one of the transactions disappeared the next day. That issue was resolved, but then I ran into another problem. I received my glasses, which worked fine. However, I couldn't see properly through the sunglasses and needed a refund. All of a sudden, I wasn't able to get the full refund because of some "discount" transaction that no one could explain. Bottom line: Be very careful if you're shopping at this location. Check your receipts and account statements closely. Their customer service is awful, and I can't recommend doing business here after such a frustrating experience.

After my exam, I was looking at glasses and the tech told me I would have to go to the VA for my glasses. I have mobility problems and is hard for me to get around. I couldn't understand why they would send me for an exam but no glasses. I thanked them and went to my car. While I was trying to get in, the tech said if I would accept lined bifocals, so i accepted their offer. I asked them how much it would cost. They just replied, thank you for your service! The…read moretransition lenses I got just didn't give me the sharp focus I need to do my computer work and I had to tilt my head downward to get the resolution I need to drive. When I first got them I asked about the issue and the fit tech told me my eyes would adjust and when I questioned that the manager backed her up. So I dealt with the problem and thought maybe they are right. Fast forward and I told a friend about my experience and she said to go back and press them to check them out. When I arrived, I talked to a different tech. While I was going through what happed before a woman stepped up from behind her and had me explain everything to her. She listened intently and after I finished she asked to see my glasses. She checked them out and then took measurements on my eyes and said well here's your problem. She explained in detail where the issues were and made sure I understood. In the end I found out that this was the new manager, La Tonya(I think). She ordered me a new pair of glasses so I could not only do my work but I could drive safely without hurting my neck. I have felt for the longest that professionalism was dead in the retail and service industry. Saved the coupon to use for back to school. I handed the receptionist the coupon & before even looking at the date she said it was expired, I said no it's not we checked it before coming. She then finds the expiration date that is actually pretty big (expires in December of 2025). She then takes it her what I assume is her manager, he proceeds to tell me that it's not a coupon for free glasses it's actually just a promotional card to tell you about their 2 for $79.99 deal. I said no it's not, it's a coupon for free glasses. Then I tell him where I got it & more specifically who gave it to me. And that I had used one when I received them late last year or early this year, as they gave out 2 coupons per family. He then says that they'll honor it this time (with attitude) and says it'll be a $10 difference because their prices went up from 2/$79.99 to 2/$89.99 & that anything else I'll have to pay the difference. His tone was giving rude & as though I couldn't afford to pay it because I was trying to use a coupon that THEY gave me. We do the exam, pick our glasses & just stand there waiting for someone to help us checkout. I finally have to walk up to an employee and ask for help. She starts checking me out, tells me my total is $79.99, trying to only honor one pair of glasses with the coupon that clearly says 2 pairs of glasses free. I had to point it out, she called the guy back over to help her override it. I just asked him bluntly if everyone who came in with this coupon was going to receive this kind of drama from their staff, he acted clueless as to what drama I was referring to. I also went through the cost involved as I wanted upgraded, multifocal lens. I am happy to report that I chose Dr. Abbas. Twenty minutes after surgery I had 20/20 vision in the eye that had lost all vision. Also he charged 1/3rd of what other doctors had demanded. I highly recommend him.
