And... they promised completion in 7 days, but called to say it was ready in just 3 days. The competitor said it would take 10 days. Service from the sales lady was so friendly and easy to work with. The ambiance was their only downfall the 80s/90s vintage oak cases did not look so luxurious. But when prices are 90% lower than their competitors, I would shop elsewhere to figure out my favorite styles, then come here to price check before buying.

Ben was the only one who found a way. He removed the original tension setting entirely to create a blank canvas, then molded and recreated a brand-new tension setting from scratch specifically designed for my new stone. He managed to do this while keeping the rest of my original ring exactly the same. The result is so seamless that it doesn't look like a modification; it looks like the ring was originally designed this way from day one. Because my ring is over 20 years old with numerous side diamonds, Ben performed a full inspection and caught several issues I hadn't noticed. He secured loose stones and corrected a faulty previous repair, fine-tuning the piece until it was objectively a brand-new ring. Ben was also a great partner in sourcing my diamond. I was very particular about the specific grading specs I wanted, which made it challenging to stay within my budget. He navigated the search and found the perfect stone. And although the former owner had retired and they had changed the store name to Croft and Stern Jewelry, the new owner Kelly explained that she had worked with my previous jeweler for several years and could provide the same custom design services. This was very important to me, because I am fairly particular and love special pieces for my wife to turn out just perfect. So, Kelly and I collaborated on an aquamarine ring (my wife's birthstone) offset by two small diamonds with the 3 stones, Kelly explained, signifying Past, Present and Future. And because my wife's hands are petite and because I didn't want anything that would upstage the wedding ring on her other hand, I explained I wanted the ring to be elegant but not ostentatious. In other words I wanted a sort of understated elegance. Well, Kelly worked with me every step of the way and, since we have retired to Florida, she emailed me images of the ring at every stage of the design, custom crafting the ring to incorporate any design tweaks based on my feedback and was wonderful to work with throughout the process. The bottom line is the ring turned out to be simply elegant and exactly what I wanted. Also the ring was/is to be a surprise, therefore all of the design tweaks, the payment and the shipment of the ring were handled completely discreetly. I came in not knowing a single thing about engagement rings, and feeling like an expert. Ryan really wanted me to pick the perfect ring for the budget I presented him. He made sure that I wasn't picking a diamond based on the carat size, but rather, he allowed me to look at a variety of different diamonds with varying weight/color/shape. The best part is, at no point in time did I feel like Ryan was swaying me towards a specific diamond. Instead, with his infinite knowledge on diamonds, he told me all the details of the diamond I was looking at and at the end, allowed me to pick the one I felt like was the right choice. But it doesn't even stop right there, after picking the best diamond choice that was in the store, Ryan pulled up a list of a million more diamonds that he did not have in store but can order so I could check out. Again, he filtered the list by budget and tried to find me the best diamond possible, I picked a couple so that we can compare it to the diamond I have selected I store. Once I landed on the ring design we looked at 3 different diamonds. She explained and walked through diamond quality and characteristics. With her help I chose the perfect diamond for the setting. During the build process they provided email updates to their website so I could see the progress of the ring (it also explained the build process along the way).
