They seem to be busy yet forget that customers are their livelihood. Internally, after going a BINGO game led by Sharon, we had a great time and felt better about the Park only to be evacuated on 7/4/2025 by Centerpoint Volunteer Fire Department. No follow up by ORR, no return calls even when phones were working, left several messages, sent messages on FB, comments, nothing yet they commented "all people were accounted for." How did this happen? We never heard from them. They have lots of full time residents which is okay. Yet don't seem to care about others? Not sure. Life is too short to deal with their office staff. Just a note to the relatively newer owner, Willie: if you'd up your game with the office staff, you'd have a lot more business. Everyone that I talk to complaints are the same. Not friendly, no return calls, etc. EVEN AFTER THE FLOOD!

The store had misc items that you might've forgotten, drinks, snacks and a pool table inside. There is also a place to order burgers, pizzas, etc near the store which was affordable and the burgers are pretty good. The campgrounds have spots for RV with power and water hookups, also primitive RV spots as well. Tent camping spots all have outlets so you can a run a fan, charge your phone etc (no AC). The campgrounds are clean and staff made sure the trash bins stayed empty, the bathrooms and shower facilities are clean and up-kept. Definitely can't wait to return.

A relatively small campground, but clean and well maintained with actual trees instead of clear-cut pavement. There is also a nice little clubhouse as well as a camp store, a small gym, a pool, laundry and shower facilities. The spaces are gravel and a little narrow, but plenty long. There are pull throughs and back-in sites for most size rigs. It's also just a few miles from Boerne and Comfort. The only downside we experienced was the road noise.

"Neighbors", also apparently long term residents, helped us get set up and leveled after our RV was delivered. Very quiet place, lots of deer, some guineaus (the bird), hummingbirds, and just a generally peaceful atmosphere. Picnic table at each spot. Not meant to be a luxury park, but super relaxing. This being our first time living the RV lifestyle, we love it!!! Thanks for a fantastic stay!!!

This is my second review of Canyon Cove after having been here for about 9 months…read more Sure, she's got her quirks. Sometimes there are various technical issues, and my cell service is weak out here, (that's a failing in my service provider, tho) and the highway intersection at the entrance can make it tricky to get in and out. But all that just adds to her charms! It's the bird song, the fireflies, the cool breezes, the feeling remote but having fairly easy access to all that is needed... and most of all it's the people. Deb and Dave have been nothing but friendly, responsive, and they work hard to continue to make improvements to this place, and to take care of issues in an expedient manner. And our neighbors? Our neighbors have been wonderful! We've not met a single person who hasn't just been full of smiles. We truly hate to leave Canyon Cove, but life is calling us in another direction... at least for now. We hope to be back in the not too distant future and resume life in this peaceful place! They deliver it to each camper . Also you can be evicted for no reason so beware. The owner David has a rule do as i say not as i do. Rule 1 pick up your dog poop but he doesn't pick up his dog poop. He doesn't walk his dogs he rides on a electric bikes and carts and pulls them down the road. The dogs have to poop on the road as he doesn't stop for them to poop. Speed limit 5 miles an hour which he doesn't abide by . The roads are awful with potholes everywhere. Also when the well was putting out we were on boil order a lot.​ He also talks awful to his wife the co-owner. He also thinks he knows everything. We have never been late on Rent most time paying early but still got evicted. When I asked why Deb said she doesn't have to give a reason. They both say they moved here from Colorado cause the state turned blue but they act like they are blue. I wish anyone who moves there good luck you will need it.

10/10 -- A Hidden Gem in the Texas Hill Country!…read more We absolutely loved our stay at Outdoorsy! We booked completely last minute--the day before--and stayed in Suite 16. This place truly feels like a hidden gem, and the entire experience was such a vibe. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was amazing from beginning to end. The ladies helped us with our luggage via golf cart and were available from 9am - 7pm to shuttle us back and forth to our cars. All we had to do was text the front desk for a ride. Everyone was incredibly sweet, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. You could tell they genuinely enjoyed their jobs, which made the experience even better. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and really thoughtfully designed. Having a fridge and microwave was such a nice touch, along with robes in the room and all the little amenities that made it feel more like a boutique stay than traditional "glamping." Our site also had its own fire pit, which really completed the Hill Country vibe. One of our favorite surprises was having a deer feeder right outside our door! We were able to watch deer come right up near our site, which was such a peaceful and memorable part of the experience. Between the deer, longhorns, fire pit, and incredible stars at night, you really felt immersed in the Hill Country. Suite 16 is closer to the main road, so you can clearly hear some highway noise. They thoughtfully provide a white-noise machine, which made it an easy fix. If you're sensitive to road noise, I'd recommend requesting a site farther from the main road. The guest room did get pretty warm around 4 p.m. because the windows face the afternoon sun. Some window tinting or an exterior shade would probably help, but when we mentioned it, the staff immediately offered to bring us an additional large A/C unit. They even offered us a complimentary cocktail for the inconvenience, which was such a nice gesture! Overall, the suite stayed comfortable, and they did an excellent job designing the space with multiple floor vents to keep air flowing throughout. The property gets VERY dark at night! There could possibly be a little more pathway lighting between the tents, but honestly, the low light pollution is also part of the magic--the stars were absolutely incredible. If you're directionally challenged, worried about critters at night, or just don't want to walk in the dark, renting a golf cart for $150 for your stay might be worth it. Feeding the longhorns was another highlight--feed buckets were only $5. The check-in area also had s'mores supplies, firewood, beer, snacks, and drinks, all at surprisingly reasonable prices. It's a great little convenience when you realize you forgot something or want to enjoy s'mores around your fire pit. We also loved the game room! There's a pool table, ping pong, basketball, a massive TV, and plenty of room to hang out. It was especially nice having a cool place to escape the Texas heat and relax for a while. The only thing missing is a pool on property but it sounds like that will be the next addition. Some yurts do have pools but it will definitely be a welcoming addition with the Texas heat! Overall, 10/10 and highly recommend! The few minor inconveniences were handled quickly and graciously by the staff. From watching deer outside our door and feeding the longhorns to sitting around the fire pit and seeing a sky full of stars, the whole property had such a fun, relaxing Hill Country vibe. We're so glad we found this hidden gem and would absolutely stay again!

We were given a golf cart complimentary due to the priors day rain causing mud (I would feel it was needed but for the high price of $150 I'm glad we didn't have to purchase as the tents are a bit of a walk if you're not inclined the whole stay) The pancakes were good and she offered to make us one for our kiddo instead of the 3. The drinks options were plentiful and delicious. We loved all amenities . We grilled and smoked food and enjoyed the activity center. I do wish all tents had the cowboy pools or at least a community one. I wish there front desk hours stayed open a little later also. This place is perfect for a Fredericksburg visit with close wineries and shops nearby still! Tents offered perfect privacy from others but not much sound privacy. Perfect. For families , couples and groups. A lot was already provided or offered by the property!
