They promptly came with a team of trucks and tree specialists first thing in the morning and left in the late afternoon after all the debris was cleaned. They did a great job. We had them scheduled to cut a bunch of trees today. They apparently didn't like the tone of our neighbor's (who was letting them use his yard) voice and left. The neighbor didn't want them to put equipment on his pallet of pavers he just got delivered and said something. They didn't like that and I suppose just didn't feel like working today and took off. The woman who came for the estimate stated she couldn't find them. WTH?? Meanwhile we both took off of work for this! just like the reviews state... they do not know how to prune trees and I would never use this company agai. I have 2 telephone poles left in my yard they trimmed almost everything off the trees. they also left a their garbage beh and dumped all the branches and leaves into the gutter and my town doesn't pick up things in the gutter!! i had to bag all those heavy branches and debris myself it took 12 bags to complete not to mention it broke my back. read more

They were cleaning the trees next door to my house and littered trees, branches and saw dust all over my property! I tried talking to the guys to clean it up and they completely ignored me, finally the owner text me and said I had to wait til 630pm for them to clean it. Cut medium maple & large dying maple. Trim branches on a pine tree. Gave same day estimate and were timely with the project. Vinny came and gave me an estimate on the spot for $2700. In the end. Instead of 5 stars for price, I give them 10 stars for price and quality of service overall. The project was huge. It required a ridiculously massive crane and the only way to get the crane into my yard was to take down the fence. I got estimates from four companies including BTS, all other three companies said I would have to hire someone else to remove the fence and have them put it back, which would cost even more money and even more time to find a contractor. Vinny said don't worry, we'll take it down and put it back, which they did. You'd never know the fence was taken down. This is why I chose BTS - hassle free and affordable to boot! The project is daunting enough, so Vinny went the super extra mile to make me happy. My next door neighbor happened to know Vinny and he gave BTS a thumbs up, which was really reassuring. Also, before I hired them, Patricia sent me the Certificate of Insurance via email promptly. Meaning they have insurance to cover personal and property damage, and most important to me, workers compensation insurance for their workers. Yes, I called the insurance company to triple check. The project itself was super smooth, they wore helmets and I could see safety was a big concern for them since it's such a dangerous job. They did a fantastic job cleaning up, too. We called the owner to complain and And we were told that someone would call us back. It is now about two weeks later and we still haven't heard back from the owner of the company. If I could give this service a zero review I would. I had a large branch come down on my property from a neighbor's tree. I had used BTS once before and had a positive experience with them. One of their workers came over, cleared the driveway, and quoted $350 to cut and haul the branch. I agreed and gave them a check. After the worker had the check he told me that they would be back in the afternoon to complete the job. I didn't have a problem with that. By late afternoon I had not heard from them and, after repeated calls, they told me their wood chipper was broken and they would be over the next day, which was a Saturday. I don't know why they just couldn't cut the branch up and put it in their truck. The next day, Saturday, after repeated calls I was told that the job would be done on Monday. Monday came and, once again, after repeated calls, I was told they would be here in the afternoon. It is now 5:30 at night and they still have not shown up. Horrible service. Very unprofessional! I arrived home from early-morning errands to find a crew from this company working on my neighbor's trees. They have a crane and a wood-chipper parked in the street, and have driven a cherry-picker truck onto MY lawn, without permission - they are TRESPASSING! Then they try and re-position the cherry-picker even closer to my house, and the arm of the cherry-picker is brushing against the power and cable lines that run to my house. One of their guys tries to hold the wires above the arm, but ends up pulling the wires off my house, so now they are trailing on the ground. I would never have given them permission to drive on my property if I had been home, and I will certainly NEVER use them for any tree work! AVOID! read more

Don't use these people, dishonest. I called and scheduled a quote for 2 stumps and a small tree. The person there told me estimate appointments are 3 weeks out. I took the appointment and waited three weeks. On the day of the appointment they first they say they are not doing stumps via text. Which was clearly stated in my initial phone call. After a windstorm came through New Jersey, I called BTS on a Wednesday, to make an appointment for an estimate on Thursday, and an appointment for the tree removal on Saturday. Had a very nice conversation with a young lady. I needed the written estimate for homeowners insurance, and I was very specific about this. I came home to NO written estimate. I called the following morning and a man told me he came last night, looked at ONE tree, and left no estimate. I understand everyone makes mistakes, but when I asked him to please go back and look at all three fallen trees, and leave a written estimate, I got back "I don't know I'm pretty busy." We had a standing appointment the following day to actually do the work, and when I mentioned that, he once again told me "Well I'm really busy." He refused to go back and look at the trees or give me a written estimate. I asked him if he'd rather I call a competitor, and he said "yea maybe you should." I called again an hour later to speak with the owner, only to find out that THIS MAN WAS THE OWNER. He was incredibly unprofessional, and did not care one iota about customer service. Excellent job! Excellent customer service! Patricia kept me updated from the day of my estimate to the day I paid. They have me an amazing price and did not require me to take the day off from work. I came home to find the work completed exactly as we planned. And, more importantly, I have an above ground pool RIGHT under the bad tree. The pool was not disturbed at all.
