It's a poorly run institution, with ill equipped administration. There is one great professor who…read morewas basically the backbone of my nursing education, and a few other good professors. The administration though, (those that handle things like setting up clinicals, schedules - particularly during the holiday season, and handling students' paperwork so they can take the NCLEX and get their license) is for some reason unable to get things done effectively or timely. I completed the program 90 days ago and they still have not sent my transcripts the board of nursing so I can obtain my license.

Graduated two months ago and the BON just told me today that they did not receive any application fee even though Dr. Simmons told me all fees were paid/processed. Who knows when I will actually be able to take my exam and become a nurse. It's easy to not care about someone elses career when you already have your own I guess. And good luck getting a response from her via email- and she conveniently never seems to be in when you want to speak to her directly. No one actually cares about your education/career as long as their graduation rates are high and your tuition is paid. If you're torn between here and somewhere else- choose the second one.|

The professors are supportive, and I've learned a lot in a short time. The campus has a calm vibe, which really helps during stressful weeks. There are still a few things that could be better some of the systems feel a bit slow and outdated but overall, it's a good place to grow, especially if you're focused and make the most of the resources here. The North Hudson campus is in 1 building, versus the Jersey City campus which has multiple buildings. Trust me.... in the rain, sleet, or snow - its amazing to have all classes in one central building. HCCC NHC has a great atmosphere! The school is an amazing option for a great education and sneaking in some cheaper transfer credits. NHC does amazing things for the students, but it's mainly for morning and day classes. The teachers here want you to succeed, so just put your best step forward and make it happen! Make sure your check your professors prior to taking classes, as this helps A LOT trust me. If you see any classes with McRae, Colban, Sporcic, Caniglia, Chavez, Tarmu - take them! =)

Bloomfield College is located in a super nice location. There are plenty of shops and food places…read morearound the block. Lots of fun activities for residents and commuters. The Cafeteria has a large variety of food available every + they're vegan friendly. The dorms are amazingly clean and all the staffs are amazing people always willing to help. Plenty of scholarships available. I just wished that there was more science professors and more classes availability every semester. Some classes are available only every year or every other year. (Chemistry classes).

At this center , I took one of my Praxis exams. I wish I would have came to this center for all the…read moreother ones in the past! This center is extremely clean and the people that run it are very professional and helpful. The facility itself is small, and gives you a feeling of warmth and comfortableness. When I walked in, I was greeted by a kind man. He walked me to a locker where I put all of my belongings inside. Then he walked me to a seat and I signed the test form. Then I was greeted by a lady and she took my form and continued the process. She then walked me to my computer. The room that I was in is set up in cubicles. There is ear plugs right in front of the computer. I had a hard time finding the headphones. They are on top of the cubicle itself, hanging. My experience at this test center exceeded by expectations and I would definitely recommend that people book their next exam with K&M test center ! PS: do not park in the reserved spots.

Convenient location. On-site parking (small but a spot was open). There was a sign pointing to the…read moresuite where the Testing Center was, and was very easy to find once there. I took an exam for a class in which I am a distance student. My test had to be printed, taken, and scanned to PDF and uploaded to the university's web portal. All of this was efficiently taken care of by the proctor. I was taking my test very soon after I walked in the door and on my way out very quickly after I was done. Just make sure to bring 2 forms of ID (driver's license and credit card is fine). They offer earplugs and/or over the ear headphones if you need reduced distraction (I did not use but it was nice of them to offer these). I had a pleasant experience and will be back to take tests in the future.
