He always listened carefully to me about my back and neck pain issues and tried a variety of techniques with me until we found something that worked (for me the activator and arthrostim instruments provided immediate relief from severe musculoskeletal pain that would periodically flare up). I now live on the east coast and have not been able to find any chiropractor who is trained in even half of the wide variety of techniques that Dr Goforth knows and none have been able to help me (and most have made me worse). I have always liked him, but I will say that Dr Goforth has a very direct, and at times even terse personality. It might be difficult for patients who are timid, unable to voice their concerns and preferences, or offended by "tough love" styles of advice. Some of the negative reviews here sound like people who weren't a good match for his personality. The bottom line is that Dr Goforth is a highly skilled practitioner and the only chiropractor who would adjust me, leave me to rest for a few minutes, and then check to see if further adjustments/refinements were needed. Everyone else I've seen adjusts you once and that's it until your next appointment. I desperately wish there were more chiropractors like him.
